Thomas

Jennifer sees the news of the house fire in Cole's living room. At that time she was only accompanied by Thomas. "Don't worry. Your sister didn't die in the fire," said Thomas. "Yes. I know," Jennifer said. Thomas didn't say anything else. He returned to busy with the pile of papers on his desk. The family room and work space are not limited by anything. So that Thomas could see Jennifer from where he was sitting. "Since when did you work for Jims?" Jennifer asked, turning off the television. "Since he saved my life. Both my parents died in the war. Jims saved me. I was fourteen then." "Wow." Jennifer didn't think Jims was such a nice person. "Did you also meet my father?" Jennifer asked again. Thomas stopped what he was doing and looked at Jennifer. "Of course. I even met you when you were little." Jennifer was surprised. She did not think that Thomas had seen him when she was a child. "Is that true?" Jennifer was enthusiastic. "Yes. Jims, Steven and Justine. The three of them are best friends. Once a week they get together. Only Steven has a family. And one day Steven brought you along to the meeting." Thomas recalls having had so much trouble looking after little Jennifer. "I don't think we've met before. So you've met Janeth too?" Jennifer asked again. "Janeth? Of course. But Steven is with you most of the time. He'd be in trouble if he had to take both of you at once." "You are right." Jennifer laughed at the thought of how her father would have trouble carrying them both. Thomas watched as Jennifer laughed. In his heart he judged that Jennifer was a strong girl. Lost mom and dad. Being the back of the family and being betrayed by her own boyfriend and twin sister is not an easy thing to go through. But Jennifer looks tough. "Would you like to eat something?" asked Thomas. "I want some cereal." Jennifer's stomach suddenly felt hungry. "Okay." Thomas immediately went to the kitchen. Incidentally, he still has a lot of cereal stock. Back when he was with little Jennifer. They both share cereal with each other. The meetings that Jims and Steven had were sometimes time-consuming. In fact, it is not uncommon for Thomas and Jennifer to sleep together. Remembering that incident made Thomas's heart tremble. Especially imagining himself hugging Jennifer sleeping under a shady tree. Of course Jennifer wouldn't remember that. Jennifer is too young to remember everything. "The cereal is ready," Thomas said. Jennifer accepted it gladly. He eats voraciously until it runs out without residue. "Thank you. This is my favorite cereal. How do you know?" Jennifer asked. "That's my favorite too." Thomas suddenly felt embarrassed and awkward. "Unexpected." Jennifer smiled. With a new face. Jennifer's smile looks more beautiful and perfect. It made Thomas stare at the girl. Even though he himself operated on Jennifer. Suddenly there was a very loud clock in the living room. Thomas looked at the watch on his wrist. It is time for Jims to take his medicine. But Jims hadn't come yet. "What happened? Your face looks tense." Jennifer looked at Thomas. Thomas didn't answer. He immediately took out his cellphone and tried to contact Jims. But not connected. Jennifer, who saw Thomas's anxiety, of course also felt it. "What is it?" Jennifer asked again. "It's time for Jims to take his medicine. But he hasn't come yet and it's difficult to contact him," said Thomas. Jennifer now understood the situation. She was also worried. Since knowing Jims suffered from an illness that made his life remaining a matter of days. Jennifer no longer ignores Jims. "Where is he going?" Jennifer asked. Thomas didn't answer. But there was the sound of a car entering the door. Thomas immediately took the medicine and drinking water and took them to the front room. Jennifer also followed behind. "It's time for medicine," Thomas said as soon as Jims entered the house. Jims sat speechless and drank some medicine and water. After that, Thomas sat across from Jims to see the reaction of the drug. Jennifer also sat beside Thomas. "I'm glad to see you two get along. You two can definitely make a great team," said Jims praising the two. "What was the outcome of the meeting?" asked Thomas. "Going smoothly. I leave Jennifer to you. Train Jennie from today. Prepare her to become a professional assassin belonging to the state," said Jims. "Fine," Thomas answered without hesitation. "Remember, Jennie. From now on you are my daughter. Jennie Cole," said Jims. "Yes," answered Jennifer. Jims felt at ease seeing Thomas and Jennifer. He felt happy and relieved. His promise to Steven was fulfilled. And his dream of having a successor was also granted. He owed Steven a lot. "I need a break. You can start training this afternoon," Jims said to Thomas. Thomas just nodded. Then Jims went to go to his room. "Is he going to be all right?" Jennifer asked. "Sure. I've never seen a ray of happiness from Jims except when I met you," Thomas said. He's been with jims for a long time. So Thomas knows very well when Jims is sad and happy. "Does being a secret agent keep Jims from getting married?" Jennifer asked. Thomas was taken aback by Jennifer's question. He used to think so. But Jims said that before he could save Thomas, enemy fire hit a body part that prevented him from having children. "Being a secret agent is very dangerous for anyone. But that doesn't prevent them from getting married and having children, that's why they often marry fellow agents. Because if they marry ordinary people, they will find it difficult to take care of their families and it's dangerous to protect this country." "You're right. I actually thought so too." Jennifer interrupted Thomas' words. "Jims could not have children due to an accident while on duty, therefore he decided not to marry even though he had a woman he liked," said Thomas. Jennifer was sad to hear Thomas' words. She did not expect Jims' life to be quite complicated and worrisome. Therefore, Jennifer was determined not to disappoint Jims. She will train well and master everything in no time. That way Jims will feel calm and happy. "Go rest. In the afternoon I will take you to do light exercises on the mountain," said Thomas. Jennifer nodded. She went to sleep. While Thomas couldn't take her eyes off Jennifer. There was no mistaking it, since the girl was little Thomas had liked her. "You like Jenny?" Thomas was surprised to hear Jims voice in his ear. "You surprised me!" Thomas was annoyed. Jim laughed. He tapped Thomas on the shoulder. "I don't mind. But if Jennie likes you too." "What are you talking about!?! Mind yourself," said Thomas annoyed. He felt embarrassed because he was caught liking a girl. So far Thomas has never liked any girl.
