Max hadn't seen Margaret in three days. He was curious about Margaret's current state. Max was afraid to ask someone. He knew that Cloe was watching him. Meanwhile, Max's confidants don't know where he is.
There are many things that have changed in the main base. Max must find someone who is on his side and supports him wholeheartedly. He believes Cloe's ruthless leadership style will make most people side with him. Even though by now Cloe had managed to sleep with him and tried to lure Max with her beauty, in his mind Max knew it was just a trap. Because, if Cloe managed to make him a lover. His leadership position will be stronger. Especially if Max will later marry Cloe. Don't expect all of that to happen.
In the meantime Max will follow the plot. Studying the situation and when you have found the right time and have understood many things. Max can determine the move and get rid of Cloe.
"Sir, the laboratory results are out," reported one of the subordinates who worked in the laboratory.
Max immediately got up and followed the person. They arrived in about five minutes. The distance between Max's room and the laboratory is different.
"How is the result?" Max asked the female professor he relied on so much. Her name is Cristina. A talented woman one of Max's confidants.
"All of these liquids are not AH. This liquid is still raw. But it is the main ingredient for making AH liquid. If given time to learn about all the processes, I believe we can create this liquid," said Cristina confidently.
"s**t. I have to admit Steven is very smart and can also read the situation. He must have known that the liquid was not safe." Max felt that what was happening was not going the way he wanted, but there was still hope. "Are you sure you can make it?" Max asked.
Cristina nodded. Max was silent for a moment in thought. "How long will it take to finish?"
"I'm not sure about that. I still haven't read Steven's notebook. If you allow, then give me a day to study it. Then I'll let you know about the time it takes," said Cristina.
"Okay, I'll give you a day. Besides, according to the secret code. If CR supports MX then CR won't be affected by other substances. It can only support MX, is that right?" Max asked using a secret code between his supporters. By speaking like that, only Cristina understood what he meant. So that later if someone is watching them from CCTV cameras. They'd think Max and Cristina were talking about chemical molecules. In fact, they were talking about personal matters.
"Right. CR will fully support MX," replied Cristina.
"Then MX requires MR. But in this case, MR was not found. Do you know what caused it?" Max asked. Actually CR is Cristina. MX is Max and MR is Martha. If Cristina is loyal to Max then Cristina will tell honestly where is Martha.
"In this case, MR is bound by a CL compound. It will not appear, unless the CL compound that binds to MR is bound by MX or removed," replied Cristina.
Cristina's answer confirmed that Martha was hidden by Cloe. Martha will be free if Max subdues Cloe or kills Cloe.
"Where do you think MR is hidden by CL?" Max asked again.
"In that case, I still have to study it," said Cristina.
Max understands that Cristina doesn't know where Martha is hidden or held captive. Max had to find it himself, because Cristina had a more important task, namely liquid AH. Meanwhile all the employees who happened to hear them communicate were astonished. They didn't understand what the two of them were talking about.
"Then I'll go first. I'll send Steven's notebook to you," Max said.
"Okay. I'll immediately call you tonight," said Cristina with a smile.
Max left immediately. He headed to his study. Max had taken all of Steven's notes and then put them together in a folder. That way Max could email Steven's note.
Max immediately sent the file. Then Max studied the blueprints of the headquarters building. There should be some secret room that Max can find. The secret room is only marked with the letter S.
Max finds some secret rooms. But there are only two rooms. One in Max's current room and the second in Martha's room or Cloe's room right now. Apart from that, there is no other secret room.
"There must be something I'm missing," Max said.
"What are you thinking? Don't push yourself too hard," said Cloe entering Max's room.
Max was surprised. He came straight out of the headquarters secret file. Don't let Cloe know that he is looking for Martha's whereabouts.
"Nothing. I'm just disappointed, because I failed to bring home the liquid," said Max.
"Are you sure?" asked Cloe, giving Max a sharp look.
Max nodded immediately. He is very good at not expressing himself. Max is also good at always looking calm even though he was actually surprised and afraid of being caught.
"Why are you here?" Max asked.
"I just wanted to see you. That's all," said Cloe. "And yes of course. I miss you very much." Cloe sat on Max's lap.
"Thank you," Max said with a genuine smile. In fact, Max really wanted to strangle the girl's neck.
"I've heard that Cristina is able to carry on the raw liquid. You didn't fail. But you have served us. With this, our loved ones will rise from the dead."
"I hope so," said Max.
"Good. I'm glad to see you're excited again. Don't forget to have lunch," Cloe said, then got up from Max's lap. Cloe to the outside. After a while. Max breathed a sigh of relief. Finally he was free from the demon.
Max immediately opened the laptop again. He would not give up so easily on Martha. Because only Martha will be able to take Max to the leadership chair. Carefully Max went back to reading the blueprints room after room at headquarters.
Max knew he was easily attracted to pretty girls, but Cloe was an exception. Max and Cloe are not the biological children of their first leader. He and Cloe are both adopted children who were picked up from the rest of the war. They are both considered as biological children. Since childhood the two of them did not get along very well. Every time fighting. Adoptive father always defended Cloe. While Martha hugged and defended Max. They both grew up hating each other into adulthood. Exactly one day their leader or adoptive father died. Before he died he ordered to give and make Max as a substitute. But Cloe never accepted that.
