Max is a mystery to Jennifer. Since the first time Jennifer knows not much. He thought that Alex had also received information, but apparently he also did not find a clue who the man named Max was. So finally, Alex decided to find information about Max. The search started from the Rose Cafe. Where Max and Jennifer work. The problem is Rose Cafe is no longer active. Jennifer and Alex were on the verge of giving up hope. Luckily a passerby gave them a clue. Apartment 13. Jennifer knocked softly on the door. If only Jennifer's face didn't change at that time, maybe Jennifer would never meet Damian again. Soon the door opened. A familiar face appeared there. "Who are you?" Damian asked Jennifer. For a moment Jennifer was stuck in the past, but when she heard Alex's voice, Jennifer's thoughts disappeared instantly. "We need your help. Can you help us for a moment?" asked Alex. Damian looked at Jennifer and Alex in turn. "I don't have time. Busy!" Damian answered harshly. He was about to close the door but Alex held him back. "We'll pay you. One hour fifty dollars. How?" asked Alex. Damian's eyes narrowed. "One hundred dollars," Damian said. He's still greedy as usual. "You!??" Jennifer was about to get angry, but Alex held her back. "Fine. But we'll reduce the pay if it's not even an hour." "Ok. Deal," Damian said. He opened the door wide for Jennifer and Alex. Jennifer and Alex came in. They were immediately greeted by the strong smell of alcohol. Musty smell of dirty apartment and messy room. "Please have a seat. Ignore all this mess. There was a party last night so you guys did come at the wrong time," Damian said. Jennifer and Alex sat down. Jennifer immediately prepared the phone to record. Jennifer's attitude made Damian suspicious. "Are you reporters? Must be here to ask about Max too." Jennifer and Alex were shocked. "Did a lot of people come to ask about Max?" asked Alex curiously. "Yes. Especially after the news of Jennifer's death. I feel so sorry for the mute girl. I can say she is a nice and innocent girl. I can't tell the difference between a guy who takes advantage of her." Jennie really wanted to slap Damian. But he didn't want to make a fuss. Moreover, the mission to obtain information would fail if he made a fuss. "What's your name?" Damian asked Jennie. "My name is Jenny." "Wow, what a beautiful name. You are so beautiful." "Thank you," Jennifer said. "Let's focus on the purpose of coming here," said Alex. "Do you know who Max is?" asked Alex. "I don't know who he is. But I know he's not a good guy. He once stole my money, that's why I fired him. But he told Jennifer to quit his job because he found a better job. And the girl believed. Great," Damian said. . "So you did hire anyone regardless of their background and skills?" asked Alex. "I care about craftsmanship, but I'm not a person who likes to intrude on people's private lives. He has an ID. He has skills too. His cooking is five-star quality." Alex sighed. He felt there was no clue about Max. Looks like a hundred dollars will be wasted. "But since you've already paid me. I'll give you a hint. Think of it as an information business." Jennifer and Alex looked at Damian seriously. "When Max was working. Every now and then a woman came to see him. The two of them talked without Jennifer knowing. Out of curiosity I had the chance to eavesdrop on their conversation. If I'm not mistaken, the woman once said that Max had to find the laboratory and return to headquarters immediately. Yes, that's all. what I heard." "Only that!?!" Jennie almost banged the table. "I took a photo of the girl. But I won't give it away unless you both give the right price," Damian said slyly. "You're greedy," Jennifer said. "Don't say so beautiful. Women are the craziest money. We men just try to do our best." Jennifer was fed up. She wanted to get out of there quickly. "Okay. Tell me how much you want," said Alex. "Why did you do it," Jennifer protested. "Don't worry. He deserves it," said Alex. Damian smiled again. He glared at Alex. "You don't seem like a random man. You know that a crook won't sell something at a high price, if it isn't something of value." Jennifer didn't know if it was true or not, but maybe Alex's decision didn't hurt. It's just that Jennifer remains worried. "Just say how much you want," Alex repeated. "Not expensive. Just give me three hundred dollars," Damian said. "OK agree." Damian immediately gave his bank account number to Alex. It didn't take long for the money to come in. As Damian promised, the greedy man gave some important photos to Alex. "Thank you. I'd rather work with a greedy guy like you than a sneaky guy." Alex shook Damian's hand. Jennifer stared disapprovingly. Damian who knew that Jennifer didn't like him immediately rebuked him with words. "Of course, Alex. I'm just a greedy guy. Not a cunning guy and a liar either," Damian said, emphasizing each word as he glared at Jennifer. Jennifer knew what Damian meant. She immediately looked away. "Thank you. We'll go." Alex immediately said goodbye. Damian nodded and opened the door for the two of them. "Be careful on the road. Walking with beautiful women is quite dangerous!" Damian's words made Jennifer even more annoyed. "You don't have to listen. He did that on purpose to annoy you." Alex persuaded Jennifer to ignore Damian's attitude. The two of them finally got out of the apartment. Back to their motorbikes. "I'm curious about the photo Damian sent. Can I see it?" Jennifer asked. Alex nodded. He immediately showed the photo Damian had given him. But how many times he saw Jennifer did not recognize the woman. "Do you recognize this woman?" asked Alex. "No. How about you yourself?" Jennifer asked. "Neither do I. But we can find out. I've sent this photo to my acquaintances and tracked all the data. Don't worry," said Alex as he climbed into his motorbike. Jennifer also immediately climbed behind Alex. The two of them slid down the road to Alex's house. But when it comes to getting home. Alex saw a high billow of smoke. "Fire!?!" Jennifer asked. "Where's that." Jennifer did not know where the fire came from. But Alex was silent for a long time. Coincidentally, their motorbike was stuck in traffic on a one-way street. "That's my house." "What?" Jennifer was shocked. "Yes. The fire broke out in my house," said Alex again No way, Jennifer thought.
