I was the exclusive personal assistant to Adrian Grant, CEO of the Grant Group.
My annual salary was ten million dollars, with a company car, housing, and a generous year-end bonus.
My job was sleeping with him.
That was until a new intern joined the company. When she heard about my compensation, her eyes widened on the spot in the break room.
"Just sleeping with him gets you over ten million dollars a year? And you get all kinds of luxury handbags and custom-made clothes too?
"Ms. Vivian Reed is way too lucky. It's practically like she got a trial pass to being Mrs. Grant!"
The next day, she went over my head and approached Adrian's mother, Eleanor Grant, directly.
"Mrs. Eleanor Grant, I'm willing to serve as Mr. Grant's personal assistant around the clock.
"I only want an annual salary of two million dollars. And I graduated from a prestigious university. I'll definitely be more professional and attentive than Ms. Reed."
That afternoon, she clicked her way over to my desk in high heels, unable to hide the smugness in her eyes.
"Vivian, Mrs. Eleanor Grant has already signed off on my transfer.
"She also thinks you're getting older and that your body can't handle Mr. Grant anymore. In two days, you can pack up your things and leave the Grant Group."
She crossed her arms and stepped closer, deliberately lowering her voice so only the two of us could hear her taunt.
"Vivian, I heard Mr. Grant always makes quite a commotion whenever he's in the office lounge. With that little body of yours, you probably haven't been able to keep up for a long time, have you? From now on, you can leave this kind of 'physical work' to me."
She raised an eyebrow, apparently waiting for me to become angry, resentful, or even hysterical.
But I only gripped the pen in my hand so tightly that my eyes reddened with excitement, even my fingertips trembling slightly.
Finally...
I was going to be free!
All outsiders saw was Adrian—young, handsome, and in control of a vast corporate empire, the ultimate bachelor countless socialites were desperate to have.
What they didn't know was that he wasn't entirely human.
The bloodline of the Grant Group carried the genes of an ancient mimetic serpent species, and Adrian was the pure-blooded "Serpentkin" whose genes had awakened most perfectly in this generation.
His body temperature was extremely low. He had no human sense of empathy. Cold-bloodedness, brutality, and an extreme possessiveness were etched into his very bones.
Even more terrifying was the abnormal physiology he possessed as a serpent.
Snakes had two hemipenes.
As a Serpentkin, whenever Adrian gave in to his animal instincts and entered his mating heat, he would reveal two reproductive organs.
They were monstrous things that did not belong to any human body, covered in cold, rigid backward-facing scales and sharp scale-like spines.
Serpents were inherently lustful and violent.
Every time he lost control, it was an act of horrific s****l violence for me.
His possession was domineering, brutal, and utterly devoid of tenderness. His two deformed organs would penetrate me alternately, sometimes even at the same time, accompanied by the gnashing of sharp teeth and the injection of venom.
An ordinary woman's body could never withstand the double tearing and brutality he inflicted. Every woman who had ever been sent into his room had, without exception, ended up suffering massive internal bleeding, permanent disability, or even going into shock on the spot.
Only me.
Because of my unusual constitution and astonishing ability to heal, I became Adrian's only "exclusive antidote."
I was the only woman capable of taking the savage assaults of both his organs and surviving his frenzied s****l violence.
I walked out of the finance department with my payroll statement in hand and ran straight into several newcomers from the executive secretary's office.
The girl at the front was Chloe Bennett. She wore a sharply tailored Chanel-inspired suit and meticulously applied no-makeup makeup, and everything about her radiated the arrogance and ambition of someone fresh out of school.
The moment she saw me, her eyes lit up. She clicked over in her high heels with an overly familiar smile.
"Vivian, did you just go pick up your paycheck? You work right beside Mr. Grant. Your salary must be worth several years of ours, right?"
I said nothing.
An assistant standing beside her, who was in charge of printing, gave a sarcastic laugh.
"Way more than that. The money Mr. Grant casually gives Ms. Reed is enough to buy a house. We work overtime every day until our hair falls out and make ten thousand dollars a month, while she just sleeps with Mr. Grant and earns more than we could make in a lifetime."
Chloe clenched her fingers, a flash of jealousy passing through her eyes before she quickly forced it down.
"Vivian, what do you usually do for Mr. Grant? Teach us a few things."
I was silent for a moment before answering calmly.
"Just... sleep with him."
