DANIEL
When Anele’s mother was giving birth to her, I was really impatient because I wanted it to be quick and over with. I hated her then, and I hated being in the same room as her. All I wanted was my baby and be gone. Luckily, Anele was healthy and strong to go home the next day, so I just took my baby and left the hospital. My mother was there to help raise my girls, but when she and my father disowned my brother, I decided to distance myself and my kids from them too.
It was me and the girls since, until I met Yolanda’s mother. Her sudden death really broke my heart. I wish I could have spent more time with her because I loved her hard, but in the end, I learned to accept and forgive myself.
Today I am with her daughter in the delivery room, waiting to welcome our son. Yes, Yola
