Zahra Aisyah POV
It was 5:00 in the morning, I thought Risa was sleeping but it turned out that when I woke up she still hugged me tightly with her eyes still open. Even I who accompanied him fell asleep whether maybe I was sleeping while Risa was still awake because she was still scared.
"You have not slept dear?" I asked, Risa shook her head and Risa tightened her hand."Where do you want to go?" Risa asked, staring at my face.
From his eyes I could see that he was still scared. For a moment I tightened my hands to his body. Really I feel concerned with Risa why at a young age even very young, he must bear the burden that he should not bear.
"Auntie wants to pray first"
I say while caressing Risa's hair, but Risa even tightens her hands and I just smile.
"but I'm afraid Auntie"
Risa said while looking down.
"Then, aunt prayed in your room, how? You don't want to go to prayer"
Risa just shook her head weakly.
I smiled while caressing Risa's hair.
I know Risa did not pray not because she was non-Muslim but Mas Dimas once told me that when he was a child, Risa was very happy with what he called Islam, he even graduated from Integrated Islamic Primary School but when parents from Risayang began
Ignoring Risa, slowly began to treat Risa. But, not caring and giving Risa love, caring for Risa's parents here acts rude and hurts Risa. Unfortunately, Risa's parents were stupid and did not care about Risa when Risa entered high school, Risa's parents began to be rude. In fact, that's where Risa starts looking for her attitude that looks cold and indifferent because in her childhood Risa was a happy, flexible and expressive girl but because of her sudden actions - her parents suddenly made Risa untouched and not only that, Mas Dimas also said that Risa had begun to leave his obligations as a Muslim when Mas Dimas asked why? Risa only replied, "I hate this life, why is this life unfair to me, why is God not to me" That was the answer Mas Dimas got.
Initially Mas Dimas was angry very angry he could not understand the thoughts of his nephew. But Mas Dimas tried to understand Risa's condition, she was only a teenage girl who grew up and formed her personality but because of her parents' actions she became a figure who seemed to hate her own god. Patiently, Mas Dimas always invites and reminds Risa, even though he always gets rejection. Mas Dimas thought that Risa's actions, which would not carry out their obligations, would only last for a moment, but it turned out that the action continued until now. I also sometimes see Mas Dimas who always reminds Risa even though Risa always answers by shaking her head and now my job is to remind Risa as did Mas Dimas to him.
"If it's aunt ablution first"
I took ablution, then offered two rak'ahs in the morning in Risa's room.
I knew Risa was paying attention to every move I made, when I ended my prayer, I turned to Risa who was still lying in bed looking at me. I smile when we accidentally see our eyes at the same point.
"Auntie, if I pray, I won't continue to have nightmares?"
Risa said while approaching me.
She is sitting next to me from nearby. I can see Risa's face that still looks pale but still does not eliminate the beautiful side on her face. I smiled then touched his warm forehead.
"Of course dear, God will protect you when you wake up and sleep either day or night, if you remember God in trouble or pleasure then Allah will help you in every problem that occurs"
I said, smiling while caressing Risa's hair fondly.
"Means if I ask Allah to make Mommy and Risa's Daddy, love Risa, God will grant my prayer."
Asked Risa who managed to make my eyes glaze over, I immediately brought her body to my arm, my tears broke on Risa's shoulder.
Why does it feel so painful when a child expects love from his own parents. Isn't that what a child should accept. I could feel Risa's body trembling in my arm, maybe she was crying too.child should accept. I could feel Risa's body trembling in my arm, maybe she was crying too.
"God willing dear," I replied after my tears began to recede
I saw Risa right in her eyes, her cheeks wet with tears. My fingers moved to wipe away her tears. Enough, Risa can't cry anymore. From now on I will try to be a friend, brother, and mother for Risa, even though it is not so perfect.
"Wow, it turns out that here is a hug session," said Mas Dimas, who suddenly came and entered Risa's room and he hugged us.
"Uncle Uncle, uncle was not invited," said Risa with a sullen face and tried to release Mas Dimas's arm until the hug could really be released.
Mas Dimas squeezed Risa's nose to make Risa frown and managed to make me and Mas Dimas chuckled at his behavior. Look at him even still looks very adorable, he still needs a lot of love, he still needs attention but at the age of 16 he must bear such a great burden in his life.
"Who wants to hug you, I want to hug my dear wife," said Mas Dimas while hugging my body from behind.
Making Risa who saw her only pursed her lips. I hugged her tightly, she was too sweet and sweet to hurt.
"Already hugging him," I said until we finally ended our hug session."Who wants to hug you, I want to hug my dear wife," said Mas Dimas while hugging my body from behind.
Making Risa who saw her only pursed her lips. I hugged her tightly, she was too sweet and sweet to hurt.
"Already hugging him," I said until we finally ended our hug session.
Author POV
After the hug session, Dimas immediately spoke at the heart of the conversation. He enters Risa's room, not only seeing Risa's condition but to discuss the matter of the documents she found in Risa's room.
"I remember now that you were in third grade. Where would you go to college?" Dimas asked as if he did not know the achievements his nephew had just received.
"Sa, why are you silent?"
Dimas continued because Risa did not respond to her words at all.
"Uncle, because my brain, below average, I'm really dizzy with school lessons, so I don't seem to want to go to college?"
Risa answered, clearly lying, what Risa meant, the brain below average got a score of one hundred mathematics and English. Is that what Risa means is below the average?
"Wow, Sa, it's a shame you don't want to continue your education, Rosululloh told us to study, a hadith that says and learns to Chinese soil," Zara said, speaking after hearing Risa's ponolak, trying to give Risa an understanding of the importance of learning.
"Uncle ... I'm dizzy, I think my brain will overdose for a while with lessons"
Risa answers by lying.
"Because of excessive doses, you get one hundred grades in English and math, and two scholarships at once" Dimas answered, who was upset with Risa's words which included the achievement of the values she had achieved.
Dimas already knew that the two forms were the two forms of the University that gave the scholarship program yesterday after delivering Risa to Dimas's house. contact the principal and ask about the results of the National Examination report along with 2 forms and finally Dimas knows that 2 forms are 2 Universities that provide scholarships to Risa. From the principal also Dimas knew that Risa had a plan not to continue her education so the principal asked Dimas to persuade Risa to receive one of the scholarships.
"Uncle, where do you know?"
Risa asked, surprised because Dimas knew the value of the National Examination and scholarship.
"It's not important to know where, now answer uncle's question why don't you want to go to college?" Dimas asked seriously to make Risa look away because he did not want to see Dimas's face not because he was angry but because he was afraid Dimas would know his lies again.
"Come on Risa, you don't waste this golden opportunity, baby"
Zahra says after hearing Risa's decision that she will not continue her education.
"Many of them really want to study abroad but can't, whereas now you can study there for free ... or if you don't want to go abroad you have a scholarship at the University of Indonesia too"
Dimas says trying to persuade Risa but Risa remains in her position who does not want to see her uncle.
"I don't want uncle," Risa said, staring at her voice that sounded very soft.
"Why, why don't you want to go to college?"
Dimas asks, he starts to get angry at Risa, but the gentle touch of his shoulder from his wife makes Dimas stroking his chest so he can control himself.
"What do you do if you don't go to college?" Tanya dimas again sounded soft this time.
"Why are you silent," Dimas continued because Risa did not answer.
"I just don't care about myself, Mommy and Daddy, no matter whether I go to college or not, why do I care about my education if Daddy and Mommy don't care," Risa explained, confirming Dimas's suspicion.
after hearing the news that Risa intended not to continue her education, Dimas immediately suspected Risa did not want to go to college because her parents ignored her and indeed Risa had confirmed his suspicion.
"but uncle cares for you Sa, uncle cares for you, your life, cares about your education"
Dimas answered, which sounded soft, making Risa look at his uncle, and Dimaspun looked at Risa directly into his eyes.
"Come on, let's show parents and people who are always making fun of you that you can succeed after what they did to you, prove that you are a cold and indifferent person and never consider special people out there to reach the tip of the iceberg "
Dimas said trying to convince Risa.
"Yes, you have to go to college, your aunt, uncle, and grandmother to support you here," said Zahra, caressing Risa's hair lovingly, making Risa look at Zahra who was caressing her head.
"okey" Risa's short answer succeeded in making Dimas and Zahra Bahagia.
They hugged Risa together, Dimas was sure Risa's decision to quit school was not a decision of his heart and mind, but was created because of his anger.
