Festering Wrath.

"Kay, that's enough, if you keep that up she will die whether or not someone is healing her," Justin took me by my shoulders and raise e off the ground turning me away from the woman who had continued screaming even after I was no longer with her. "I need to know what she knows, if I don't-" "You are doing what you hate the most." He stared me in the eyes and gave me a small shake, but I disagreed with that; I strongly disagreed with what he just said. "Be better remember?" He stared me down until I ceased struggling in his grasp and settled, standing upright and glancing around him at the woman who had finally stopped shrieking her lungs out. "Alright, fine… be better, be, better." I chanted to myself as I was pushing his hands off my shoulders and walked around him to stand before her again, her eyes darted from left to right and settled on everything in the store aside from my form when I stood there, she was terrified now and that was good, that meant I could get answers. "Haiiro, back away." "I deem she will be much safer with me closer to her." He argued but ended up moving away regardless when my eyes landed on him, that was no suggestion, I might have seemed calmer, but the fact was; I was more pissed than the situation required me to be, exercising patience for someone who detested me that much was belittling… I wanted to break her into pieces. "I will give you a chance, but just one; tell me where the Kitsune shrine is, and I let you walk away unharmed." I stared down at her as she hunched. "Tell her, I think she is serious this time," Haiiro stared around me at the woman with a concerned gaze, apparently, he felt sorry for her after being the one to heal her. "Big sister will keep her word." "How could I possibly believe the words of this violent beast or the word of any of you abominate devils for that matter?" She asked, all the empathy in the boy behind me dried up just as all the patience I was holding on to dried up as well; this was getting us nowhere and I'd had enough, before a soul could stop me I grabbed her by her head and jumped upward with all my strength, smashing through the roof of the store and landing on the top with her, looking as her torn body from the broken wooden roof bled all over. "If you have nothing good to say then you are no use to me alive, if you want death that much, then I will grant it to you!" I focused as the winds rushed past me, and as Justin came running out of the store I was raised off the roof, slowly rising in the air as I borrowed the legs of the wind. "Kay stop, this is not you, don't let Shiro influence you like that!" Justin shouted from the ground while Cidelle leapt onto the bone bird and came after me accompanied by Tori who flew up. "Seiya, do not let your frustration cloud your judgement; you are better than they are-" Shiro contrary to what Justin was saying was actually trying to calm me down, but I was far too angry to see her reasoning, and Justin blamed her every single time I did something impulsive was like a slow nail being driven into the coffin, I hated it. "Everyone for some reason thinks I am this being of purity that can't make a mistake; like some kind of deity incapable of being anything close to malevolent, as if I am the quintessence of right choices!" I snarled jerking the woman as the winds swayed her from left to right in my hand. "What are you doing?!" She cried out, darting her eyes from left to right as she went stiff in my grasp. "I am not some saint, I'm not the person you should be dumping out your good expectations on because so far I have been a complete failure, a mess, a f*****g blunderer -I don't care about most things and I'll be f****d if I start thinking of these people… these enemies as anything other than revolting bags of meat and blood that should be stepped on; if you want a martyr I am not the one, cause I ain't gonna take your shit." I looked down at her as I calmed myself and then released her, we were already several hundred metres in the air when we started plunging downward, and I just stared at her as we flew passed a shocked Cidelle and a stoic Tori. "Where is the Shrine?" I asked, watching her flailing and screaming in futility. "The church, the shrine is in the church!" She shrieked terrified as she continued to struggle, and with a map of the town burned into my memory, it took only a few seconds before I looked around and found the Vík í Myrdal church that stood almost on the outskirts atop the hill. "Now that wasn't so hard was it?" I asked staring at her as we reached the final few metres of the fall, but she continued to scream since instead of catching her I dipped my hands in my pockets and prepared to land on my own; I had no intention of saving the likes of her, but apparently, Justin did when he jumped and caught her mid-fall and landed a safe distance away from me when I hit the roof of the store creating another hole as I tore right through. "The church," I looked at Haiiro and then pointed to it, but he had a horrified expression staring back at me with. "What?" "You could have killed her Seiya, wasn't that going too far?" He asked glimpsing at the woman who had blacked out from the shock of the fall as well as her injuries. "Seiya, why did you do that?" Shiro asked me quietly, and as she did Justin came marching toward me when I started making my way to the church. "Kay, what the hell's gotten into you?" Justin snapped but said not a single word more as I turned around to face him, eyes wide and shining crimson light, it should have been obvious what had gotten into me; my kin were in shrines, prisons, and I wanted to free them, even Shiro, especially Shiro and Haiiro, I did what was necessary, but they all seemed against it because I was using more cruel methods. Going too far? No, that wasn't even far enough, it was far from far enough, I needed this to happen and I was inclined to scorch everything that stood in my way to the soil to see it to consummation; they needed to understand what was happening, the world was changing again and this time it was going to kill us all unless we fought back for real, I wasn't going to be holding my punches from people who would chuck a nuke at me with the first opportunity they got, in fact, I believe that the only reason they had not already done that was because of the fallout that would occur if the volcanoes in Iceland erupted. "Kay, I'm talking to you say something at least-" "Like what?" I looked at Justin as I kept on walking. "Do you want me to apologise for giving her what she deserves, or is it because I am disappointing you by being more direct, what is it Justin, do you want me to beg them pleasingly to release my kin while they fling bombs at me?" I raised my voice, and out of impulse as the Alpha in our co-dependent pack, Justin snapped with a snarl and snatched me by my arms, but froze when he did it, and then steeled his mind and held me tighter, shaking his head and staring me into my eyes. "Get a hold of yourself Kay, this is not who you are?" "And you know who I am, does anyone here aside from the good doctor have a clue about the person I was before my f*****g mind was erased?" I snapped at him again. "I don't have a clue Justin, but the more I breathe, the longer I exist, the more I feel like this nice... innocent girl that you all take me for is nothing but a lie; I am angry, always, I try to avoid this rage inside of me but I can't because it IS me, and the more I think about them being inside of those seals, the more I think of the Kitsune blood that has been cruelly spilt, the angrier I become!" I dragged myself from his grasp and turned toward the church again. "They need their freedom, and I need to erase this anger somehow, because if I do not; there just might be a scorched earth." "Seiya!" Shiro snapped at me. "This is HER doing again isn't it?" Justin clenched his jaw and balled his fists. "She has you reeling to her tune and you don't even realise it!" He said it and I felt a chill sweep through my back. "Don't blame her, she is free of your accusations, Justin." I stared at him through my peripheral. "That's bullshit, she is the one doing this, every time you have ever gone off the rails she was the main culprit, she is no good, a Demon; she is the true monster-" "Seiya!" Haiiro snapped at me when I took the first step, my arms balled up and I swung, staring him right in his eyes I swung at him with the intention to blow his head clean off his neck, and had it not been for Jason who swiftly kicked his legs and dragged him to the ground then he really might have died from the blow, I was more sure of it when the building behind him exploded into bits and pieces, and then the other buildings behind that one all the way down to the beach, it was like an invisible tunnel had been carved throughout all of Vík in an instant I could feel a sudden number of people vanish when they were caught in the path. "Stop condemning her, she is innocent, how dare you, even after all she has been through, even after all you know, how can you still say she is the enemy, the true monster -when you know all that you do?" I looked down at them, feeling a pain sear through my tail as it was forcefully torn apart, forming two in resonation to my anger spilling over. "You really need to know when to stop and read the room, Justin." "You could have killed him you know," Jason stared at me as he backed away from his brother and then aided him to his feet. "I saw," I answered and then turned toward the Church and took off running, I didn't mean for it to happen like that but it had been done and there was no going back from it either, everyone else knew this just as much as I did because listening behind me the only person who was not pursuing was Justin himself; I had attempted to take his head, it was understandable. "Are you calm now?" Haiiro asked me when we arrived at the church, but I was far from it; I could feel the presence of people beneath our feet why were they so damn persistent? "I am far from calm, in fact, it is the exact opposite!" I looked at the ground and held my hand toward it, as I did Shiro issued a warning to Haiiro who directed it at everyone else, and they were able to retreat fast enough to avoid the initial eruption of fire, wind, and electricity that exploded from my palms as I slammed my hands against the earth and tore a hole into the ground beneath me with nothing but a conception of power and how to use it, the result was a cave of stone opening up and swallowing me up There I could sense it s I stood upright and looked around, I could feel the presence of another Kitsune, as well as the existence of the shrine that retained them.
