"Anders comes over and offers me his arm. It’s an odd thing for him to do, but I take it and let him lead me away. We’re just outside the village when I can’t ignore the ache inside me any longer. I want this man. I NEED this man. Releasing his arm, I step in front of him and throw my arms around his neck. I kiss him with everything that I have, the metallic taste of blood now on my lips, but I can’t be bothered to care. I move my hands down and tug at his belt, trying my best to untie it.“Ellie,” he says breathlessly, but he doesn’t move his hands from my hips. “We’re on a path. I’m covered in blood.”“I need you,” I tell him desperately, looking up into his eyes, which have returned to their normal blue. “You aren’t scared of me?”His question makes me pause. He seems so vulnerable, and it makes my heart hurt. I love this man so much.“Not at all,” I tell him, reaching up to cup his face. “You love me so well.”“No one will ever hurt you,” he tells me seriously, pulling me closer to him. “I won’t allow it.”“I know.”He leans down to kiss me as my hands move to his hair, holding him against me. He breaks the kiss, only to look around, and pulls me toward the woods. Once out of sight, he lifts me and pins me against a tree, assaulting my lips as I wrap my legs around him.“I thought you would leave me when you saw who I truly am,” he says, his lips leaving a trail of kisses down my neck that light my skin on fire. “I could never leave you. You’re part of me.”--------- Kidnapped by Vikings, Eleanor falls in love with her protector, who has a large secret. How will she feel when she learns that he is a werewolf?
