Remembering her stupidity, Bella became very sad. How embarrassed she was when she found out that she was being used by the two rodents. Which she now has to endure the shame of being given the nickname stupid blonde.
"Excuse me where is Mr Blair's Floor?" Bella said to the receptionist. She smiled kindly at Bella while looking at the branded items the girl was wearing.
And the woman also gave a probing look before telling the floor she was going to.
"Is there any interest miss?" asked the receptionist.
"I'm from university and it's my first day of internship."
"Oh I heard that. Floor 25," the Receptionist said quickly. Because according to a reliable source of gossip, there will be a daughter of a businessman who will come for an internship. Only the HR department knew and Mr Blair's assistant, she only knew that by chance.
'No wonder she looks like money running,' thought the receptionist. How not, starting from the toe to the one she wears, all are well-known brands. All the outfits she wears can buy a house. She's more suited to being a boss than an apprentice.
Because she is used to taking the special elevator at her father's company, Bella subconsciously takes the elevator for the CEO. She held the elevator with her hands and stepped into the elevator with a sigh of gratitude.
"Lucky I wasn't left behind."
Bella didn't realize that a man was looking at her with a slight smirk. It was so thin that it could not be seen, only a cold impression could be seen on his face which had golden eyes.
"Oh! Wow..." said Bella.
She almost smacked her head when she realized that she couldn't control her mouth every time she met a handsome man. The man in front of him could be said to be the creature she couldn't look away the most. Thick eyebrows, sharp eyes, a high nose and a firm jaw but also has a feminine line is a combination that she cannot easily forget.
'How can there be a man who has such good looks,' thought Bella.
His long hair made it even more challenging to beat, making Bella want to run her fingers through his soft-looking mane. She really wanted to conquer him even though she was not a girl who had a hobby of conquering men.
'No, forget about Bella. You've been let down by a handsome man, maybe you'll be disappointed again because of a man who is more handsome. The pain must be unbearable,' Bella said to herself.
Bella gave up and could only face the elevator door. It's not the time to dive while drinking water, although working while looking for hot men doesn't hurt. She is reluctant to live the toxic relationship she once did. It was tired fighting alone. All she wanted to do was make amends for her past mistake for being a stupid girl who was easily toyed with.
Bella pressed the 25 button, and the man watched Bella for a moment. The two of them didn't start a conversation at all even though they were alone in the elevator.
Ting.
To her surprise, the man also came down, as he continued to follow him. Bella became a bit uncomfortable.
"May I know why you keep following me?" she asked.
The man just chuckled but didn't respond to Bella. He actually preceded Bella who then walked behind him.
"Why did you follow me?" replied the handsome man with the long hair.
Bella gaped because the man had replied by saying the same thing. Her mouth even formed the letter O.
"All right, forget it. I was wrong to think you were a flirty, handsome and stalker guy."
The man looked amused by Bella's outspoken remarks. He leaned closer to the frozen girl and whispered. "Be careful what you say miss, I might think you're attracted to me."
Bella is not a hypocritical girl and denies what is in her heart. She always talks as it is so that she looks innocent and stupid. "Yes, physically you are one hundred percent attractive. But I didn't fall in love just because of that."
"That means there's a chance you'll fall in love with me."
"I recently broke my heart with a handsome man so have no intention of falling in love with a much more handsome man anytime soon. You could say I'm taking a break and choosing my education."
"That's bad news for handsome men. You seem to hate them."
"I know it seems unfair. But what can I do. The person who hurt me is handsome."
The two of them walked down the hall to a table with two secretaries. And the man who was never interested in any girl, somehow felt very comforted by the existence of Bella who spoke as she was.
"Good morning Mr Cresent."
Bella glanced at the man. She realized when they greeted the man beside him, it meant that this man had an important position in the company.
'Damn, why am I so stupid.'
"You guys help this lady do an internship. She's an intern with a schedule."
"Yes sir."
Bella immediately thanked Cresent. "Thank you for your help. "
Cresent didn't answer and just patted the top of Bella's head.
"Work hard, miss. If possible, don't tell anyone about all your income."
Bella knew that she had been too direct. And her attitude almost made him fail in facing her father's challenge.
"Thanks for the advice sir."
Cresent chuckled while muttering. "Haah, what a pity a handsome man would be attracted to you." Then disappeared behind Blair's door.
Bella blushed at Cresent's subtle sarcasm. From now on she was determined to keep her mouth shut so it didn't look like a leaky faucet. She should be more mature in the future as Trisa said. If Bella doesn't keep her mouth shut, she might be in trouble in the future. Oh course she dont want it happend.
"Okey i just be calm and mature. "
