Bela thought she would make it home safely that night, continuing her steps toward her house with a heart still uneasy from the incident at the club. But her hope shattered in an instant when a black car suddenly screeched to a halt in front of her. Two large men stepped out, their cold eyes locking onto her before they forcefully dragged her into the vehicle.
“Let me go! What are you doing?!” Bela screamed, struggling to fight back, but her strength was no match for them. Her body was thrown into the car, and the door slammed shut with a resounding thud.
Inside the car, Aron sat casually in the back seat, a cigarette resting between his fingers. He looked at Bela with a sinister smile that sent chills down her spine.
“Aron… what is the meaning of this?” Bela asked, her voice trembling.
“I just want to tell you something, darling,” Aron said, leaning closer. His eyes bore into Bela’s, now filled with fear. “Tonight, I want us to spend the night together.”
“You’re insane, Aron!” Bela shouted, her voice barely audible over the sound of the car engine. Aron remained unfazed, lighting his cigarette and blowing the smoke directly into Bela’s face.
“I’ll make you happy, Bela,” he said coldly, signaling the driver to head to their destination.
Bela screamed, trying desperately to open the car door, but Aron quickly grabbed her hand to stop her. In one swift motion, he pulled out a cloth soaked in chloroform.
“I’m sorry, Bela,” Aron murmured before pressing the cloth over her mouth and nose. Her screams weakened, and her body slowly went limp until she lost consciousness.
When Bela opened her eyes again, she found herself in an unfamiliar room. The dim glow of a bedside lamp illuminated the space, and Bela noticed something that made her blood run cold—the clothes she was wearing weren’t hers. Instead, she was dressed in a thin, revealing nightgown that left her feeling exposed and vulnerable.
“Did he…” Bela whispered in panic, trembling as she checked her body. “Did he already… violate me?”
The door creaked open, and Aron entered, a smug smile plastered across his face. In his hand was a glass of red wine, which he swirled slowly.
“You’re awake, darling?” Aron asked, his tone soft yet dripping with insincerity.
“Aron… please, let me go,” Bela pleaded, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and anger.
But Aron only chuckled, walking toward her with a casual stride. “Why are you so scared, Bela? I just want us to be together. I’ve waited for you long enough.”
Bela shook her head, tears streaming down her face. “Aron, this isn’t love. You don’t love me… you just want to control me!”
Aron didn’t respond. Instead, he placed the glass of wine on the bedside table and sat on the edge of the bed, inching closer to Bela, who scrambled to move away.
“The more you resist, Bela, the harder this will be for you. Just accept it. I’ll make tonight a memory you’ll never forget,” Aron whispered, his voice low and menacing, his smile full of dark intent.
But beneath her fear, something else stirred within Bela—a flicker of defiance, a small but growing fire. She wouldn’t give in. Not tonight. Not to Aron.
The struggle in the room was harrowing. Aron, with his large, muscular frame, loomed like a dark shadow that Bela couldn’t escape. The petite and slender girl could only scream in helplessness.
“Just enjoy it, Bela...” Aron whispered hoarsely, his face drawing closer to Bela’s terrified expression. She turned her face away, desperately trying to avoid him. Her breath hitched, her heart filled with a mix of disgust and anger.
“I’ll hate you, Aron!” Bela shouted with the last bit of courage she could muster, tears streaming down her face. “If you go through with this, I’ll hate you for the rest of my life!”
But Aron only chuckled darkly, a sinister smile playing on his lips. “Then hate me, Bela. I don’t care.”
Bela’s resolve felt futile. She tried to fight back—pushing, hitting, and kicking—but it was no use. Aron was far too strong, and her fragile body couldn’t break free. Her tears flowed uncontrollably as a small voice inside her whispered that this might be the end.
Suddenly, a deafening sound shattered the tension. **Crash!**
The window of Aron’s 12th-floor apartment exploded into shards. A large rock flew through, striking Aron’s head with a heavy thud. He collapsed onto the floor beside Bela, leaving her gasping for air on the bed.
Bela froze, her body trembling. She quickly scrambled to her feet, moving away from Aron’s unconscious form, blood trickling from his temple. Panting, she turned her wide eyes toward the shattered window. A cold night breeze rushed in, chilling her to the bone.
“How is this possible…” Bela murmured in disbelief. This was the 12th floor. There was no way someone could throw a rock from the street. But who? And how?
Her gaze fell upon the darkness outside the broken window. Amid the shadows of the night, something caught her eye, sending a shiver down her spine.
“A white wolf…” she whispered in awe.
The creature stood majestically, its fur glistening under the moonlight, its eyes glowing with a piercing intensity, as if calling out to her. Bela felt something inexplicable—a sense that this was no ordinary animal but a guardian in the darkness.
Aron groaned faintly, a sign he was regaining consciousness. Bela snapped out of her daze and, without a second thought, bolted out of the room. She no longer cared about Aron’s condition. Her only thought was to escape.
She ran to the elevator, frantically pressing the button with trembling hands. The five minutes it took to reach the ground floor felt like an eternity. At last, the elevator doors opened, and she dashed out of the building barefoot, her feet pounding the pavement as she raced toward where she had last seen the wolf.
But when she arrived, the wolf was gone, vanished without a trace.
“Where are you…” Bela whispered, her breath ragged.
Her eyes scanned the area, searching desperately for any sign of the mysterious creature. But all she found was the stillness of the night, accompanied by the soft whisper of the wind.
Bela sank to her knees, her chest heaving with a mix of relief and despair. Was it all just her imagination? Or had the wolf truly been there—a savior in the dark of night?
Her heart still raced, but a small glimmer of safety began to bloom within her. Somehow, Bela felt that the white wolf was still watching over her, hidden in the shadows, ready to appear again if she ever needed it.
