“Tristan... Tristan... why are you in my dreams? Who are you? Tristan!!!! Tristan”
He gasped out and sit upright, Tristan looked around and see James sleeping beside him, he felt sweat dripping down his face.
“It is not even hot....” he said surprisingly and walked into the shower, “I need to talk to someone about this dream.... It is getting weird and creepy” he said and put on the shower as every hit of water makes him shiver.
The young man put off the shower and sighed, “It is so cold...” he said and grabbed the towel, he looked at the mirror and stared at himself.
“Whoever she is, I think we are having the same dream,” he said and dried his body, “she sounds scared...” he added and shook his head sharply, “so creepy” he put on his shirt and a short as he walked out.
Tristan saw Isabella laying on top his dad, he smiled and walked out.
He got to the front deck and moved closer to see the ocean.
The cold breeze brushed against his hair gently, he looked away “looking at the ocean itself gives me chills” he said and turned back.
He saw a man standing afar, smoking cigarettes, Tristan looked away and grabbed a chair.
Shortly, he heard footstep approaching him, Tristan looked up and saw the man he had saw some moment ago standing in front of him, he was not sure if he has seen him around.
The man smiled to Tristan and offered him a stick of cigarette.
“Sorry I don't take that” he replied, and for some reason found the man creepy, why is a man out here at midnight when everyone is sleeping but then he asked himself the same question.
“Why are you not sleeping son? Everyone else is... Don't you think it is safer inside” the man suggested and gave Tristan a mystery smile.
Tristan knew he was not too comfortable staying out there with the man, he was not at the dining hall with others earlier and he didn't come across him while coming to the cruise, he stood “I was going in” he replied, and turned to leave.
The man smiled and puffed the cigarette in his mouth, “See you tomorrow at the Minch Island” he said.
Tristan looked back and saw the mystery smile again, he shook his head and walked in, “I can not sleep because I get weird dreams of some strange girl... I can not stay outside because a creepy man wouldn't stop talking” he muttered angrily and walked into their stateroom.
The man turned to the ocean and smiled as he threw the stick of cigarettes into the ocean, he smiled and grabbed another from its pack.
(The next morning)
Mrs. Charlie knocked on the boy's door gently, “come out boys... It is time for breakfast”.
James heard his mother and groaned softly as he opened his eyes, he stretched his arms and looked around, his brain reset and he finally remember they were on a cruise.
“Are we in Minch already?” he said and saw Tristan coming out of the shower, “hey bro” he added.
Tristan sighed and sit, without looking at his brother he replied, “good morning”.
James knew something was not right, he stood up and moved towards Tristan who looked like he was about to fall and faint, “Hey you don't look good, you good?” he asked, waiting for his response.
Tristan was tempted to tell him about his strange dream but hesitated, he stood up and grabbed a jacket, “I am good...” he said and went out of the room.
“He looked like he was up all night”, James whispered to himself.
The young man got out, to the dining hall.
He felt a gentle punch on his back, Tristan looked back and saw John, he smiled and was kind of happy to see John, the kind of happiness he gets whenever he sees Nate and Nick.
“Hey”, Tristan said as he grabbed a seat.
John sat next to him and noticed bags under Tristan eyes, he looked at the meals in front of him and said, “You look like you fought a war overnight, what is wrong?” he asked, not looking at Tristan.
Tristan knew there is no way to hide that fact, everyone that sees him know he didn’t close his eyes after having that dream, he looked at John who was rubbing his palm together, ready to eat.
“Do you believe in witchcraft?” Tristan asked.
John looked at him and laughed softly, “Do you have anyone with witch power? Because if you do, please introduce me... I have never seen a real-life witch” he said and focussed on eating.
Tristan sighed and looked away, he saw Isabella and his dad getting to the table.
Isabella grinned at him across the table, he smiled happily and waved at her, “good morning, did you sleep well” he whispered.
The girl nodded yes and sit on the chair, shortly after he started eating, the prince arrived with his wife.
Everyone greeted him as they all eat, Tristan enjoyed his lobster tail and Island duck with Mulberry Mustard, John poured himself and Tristan some Adrianna Vineyard.
Tristan could feel his dad fixed eyes across the table, he ignored his dad and smiled at John as he sipped the wine.
John was pouring himself more wine when his phone rang, he put it down gently and reached for his phone in his suit pocket.
“Ah it is my girlfriend”, John said and hurried away from the hall.
Tristan smirked and sipped his wine, shortly John returned with a huge smile on his face, “I love that girl” John said and noticed Tristan’s reaction “what?” he said and watched Tristan filled his glass with wine.
“Girlfriend? How is it like having someone that disturb you and invade your privacy?” he asked.
John laughed out, almost disturbing. He controlled his laughter and looked at Tristan “you haven't changed... Tristan do you like boys instead?” he asked.
Tristan coughed and beat his chest, “what? No” he replied and took all his glass of wine.
“WELCOME TO MINCH ISLAND...”
Everyone in the cruise stood up and walked out to see the view, they all let out a gasp as they approached the island.
Prince larry’s wife kissed him excitedly, “I am proud of you” she said and hugged him.
James who was taking pictures of the view saw the prince and his wife, he stopped taking pictures and wished he was prince larry, “One day I would even be greater than prince Larry...” he said and looked at the Island as they got nearer, “I will own many islands” he assured himself.
They all stepped out of the cruise as they got to the Island, they met some crews already waiting for them, they bowed slightly to the prince and handed him the big scissors.
He looked at his wife and smiled widely, “This is for me, you and our unborn kids” he said and everyone was in awww mood.
They all waited patiently as the prince held the scissors close to the ribbons, the reporters that had followed them all flashed their camera at them and all waited patiently.
The prince cut it and everyone cheered excitedly.
Everyone walked around the Island, admiring the work of God and man on it.
It is a stormy stretch of water in the north west Scotland, separating the north west Highlands from Lewis and Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The lower Minch is to the south and separates Skye from the lower Outer Hebrides.
“I am going to make this place into a beautiful place so people can visit any time and to live as well... it would be a big place just like the city of England”.
Tristan heard the prince as he walked by, he saw the colony of sea gulls landing on the island, he looked around and saw James and a girl from afar.
He scoffed and looked away, “He get what he want” he whispered and walked towards the water.
He sighed and stared at the blue water, “hmm”
“You know my grand mother used to tell me a story of Blue men of the Minch...”
Tristan turned and saw a reporter staring at the ocean, “huh?” He said looking at the man.
The man adjusted his glasses and looked at Tristan, “Seems you parent didn’t tell you about it... I don’t know if they are still here or not but there are mysterious supernatural sea creatures called blue men of the Minch in here, half humanoid, half mermen... I really respect the prince to have ignored the tale and bought an island here” the man said and smiled at the ocean, “many sailors get scared to near here” he added.
Tristan heart dropped, his palm got sweaty, he stared at the man and got speechless, “are you saying there might me mermaids or mermen around here and they might be watching us right now” he said in a shaky breath.
The man figured his story got the young man scared, “yes...you don’t believe in them?” He asked and scoffed, “they are and luckily...their blue self are staring at you right now” he added and walked away.
Tristan looked at the ocean and got a soft chills, he suddenly got a feeling of someone actually staring at him, he took a step backward and hurried away from the water.
“When are we leaving this place!!!”
