Adriana

Everything seemed real to be a dream, he grabbed his head and stood up. “It is not a dream... We are not dreaming” Tristan heard the girl, he turned and looked back at her then remember she was naked, “jesus” he said and looked away. “We? What do you mean we? Do we have same dream?” he asked eagerly as his heart beat fast. “I mean you”, she giggled. Tristan never thought any other giggle would be as adorable as Isabella, or even more. “Isabella!” he said and groaned out, he knew how worried she get, without looking he asked “is there a way I can leave? Is there a way I can leave this place!!!”. There was no response, tempted to look at what she was doing, he took a quick glance at her and noticed she was playing with the ocean sand. He scoffed, “Great... I am lost and stuck on an island with a weirdo” he said. Tristan thought of an idea, he unbuttoned his white shirt and cleared his throat “hey girl...take it” he said, not looking at her. It took a while before she finally collected the shirt from him, the girl stared at the shirt for a while before trying it on. “Done”, she said excitedly. Tristan’s chest was exposed, he felt the sun striking his body. He turned and looked at the girl, “oh s**t” he said as her boobs were still exposed, “you!!!” he groaned softly and looked away “you cannot put on a shirt? How are you so weird?” he said frustrated. The young man had no other choice at that moment, he sighed and turned to her. Her blue innocent eyes sparkled as she stared at his chest. He noticed and ignored her, Tristan stood in front of her and helped button up the shirt “did they give birth to you yesterday? How are you so clueless? Damn” he said as he finished buttoning the shirt up. Tristan's eyes traced her chest bone up to her neck, “how is she so perfect” he thought and looked up at her perfectly shaped lips and for some reason his heart bests skipped a beat. He took a step back and cleared his throat, “where are we? And where do you live? How did you get me here?” he asked and looked around, “do you live here?” he asked curiously. The girl stared at him and looked away, “You have not thanked me for saving your life” she said folding her arms. Tristan looked at her and sighed softly, “Thank you okay? I owe you... But I got a family that needs me... My stepmother and his son lied to us all this while, I knew something was not right about them” he said and looked away. The young man clenched his fist, “they tried to kill me.. James’s dad is alive and they planned to take everything we have” he added. The girl was confused by his story, she had no idea of what was going on. She took a step closer, “Why did those bad people do that to you?” she asked curiously. Tristan huffed softly, “To own everything we have...” he said and looked back at her, “see that is why I need to go back... They want to take me out of the way so their son can own everything my dad have and ruin him... My sister is there with them right now” he replied as his eyes got teary. The girl felt sorry for him, there was nothing she could do at that moment. “It is going to be fine” she said. Tristan scoffed and walked towards the forest, “I can not just stay here and believe it will be fine, I need to do something” he said and remembered his cell phone. “Oh my God,” he said as he searched his body. He remembered to have put it in his pocket but could not find it in there anymore. “What are you looking for?” she asked. Tristan groaned frustatedly, “why is the world against me? I would have called someone with that maybe after fixing it... Now it is all gone, how am I supposed to let them know where I am”, He yelled out angrily. The girl flinched, he noticed and let out a sigh. Tristan stared at her. “Do you have a name?” he asked calmly. It took her a short while before replying, “Adriana” “Did you just make that up?” he said folding his arms, “took you a while before answering... Who thinks about their name before saying it out?” he asked suspiciously. She shook her head, “what are you talking about?” she asked. He looked away and walked into the forest, “Who knows if there are some wild creatures in here?” he asked looking around. The sound of birds chirping in the distance got closer as he walked in, the girl followed him quietly. He looked around and saw nothing but bushes. “Do you have a family?” he asked and heard no response. Tristan stopped and turned to the girl, “if you know you would not say anything will you stop following me and let me figure out where the f**k I am, on my own?” he said. She looked down sadly, “I am lost myself,” she said softly and sniffled. He laughed softly and looked around, “you mean you saved me and got lost?” he asked and laughed out, “I am so dead” he added and put his hand on his waist. Suddenly the bush poppy beside him ruffled, he flinched and looked at it “what is that?” he said as it kept ruffling. Tristan took a step back and looked back at the girl, “wait...stay behind me” he said and grabbed a stick near him, the young man heart beat fast as the leaves would not stop ruffling. All of a sudden a creature jumped out, Tristan jumped and ran behind Adriana. “Awww this is so cute”, Adriana said as she bent down and stared at the creature. Tristan looked at the rabbit with a horn on its head, “what is this?” he asked suprised at the weird creature, “a rabbit has horns?” he asked himself, “how is this possible? What is this place?” he looked around worried. Adriana watched the rabbit hopped away, she stood up and turned to Tristan, “why are you scared of it? She is on her way to meet her lover”, the girl said smiling. He stared at her weirdly, “this get weirder every minute, how did you know she was going to see her lover?” he asked looking confused and close to freaking out. Adriana ignored him and looked around, “It was easy, she was in a haste” she replied and kept walking forward. Tristan watched her leave, he folded his arms and chuckled nervously “first a weird girl and now a horned rabbit? What else am I going to see?” he asked. “Hey I found something”, Adriana called out. Tristan hurried to her and saw a waterfall, he was amazed at the beauty of the view, he looked around and saw a small cottage not far from it. “Look!! Maybe we would find people there!!! We are not the only one here, let us go” he said excitedly and was about to leave when the girl pulled his hand. He stopped and looked back at her, “what is it this time?” he asked. Adriana dropped his hand and cleared her throat, “what is your name?” she asked eagerly, “You know my name and I want to know yours”. “Tristan” he replied. She let out a soft gasp, “Tristan?” He looked at her confused, “Why do you say that like you have heard the name somewhere....do you know me?” he asked curiously. “Wait a minute.....Is she....” he thought and moved towards her. They locked eyes. ----------------------- James looked out the window, for a reason he would not stop getting scared like something was going to happen anytime soon. He flinched at the knock on his door, James looked back and sighed, “come in”. he answered and saw his mother. She got in and locked the door, “hey I have been looking for you” she said and moved closer to his son, the woman noticed his facial expression and asked what was wrong. James sighed and sat on his bed, “ever since we killed him, I have been scared... For no reason” he replied. The woman smiled softly and sat next to him, “You don't have to be... You should be happy he is gone, they are still searching for him and very soon I am sure they will find his dead body in the water... He is in the past now, you own it all now” she said. James looked at his mom confused, “what about dad? You said I own it all?” he asked. The woman frowned and looked away, “I am not going back to your father” she concluded. “What?” the young man asked surprisingly, “why are you doing this if you won't return to him?”. Mrs. Charlie shook his head, “you were right... He hit me always and hurt me anytime I am near him, he used us and wanted all this to himself but he won't get it” she said angrily. James frowned, “you told me he didn't... You made me work with him! I would have done it all myself”. The woman stood up and walked towards the door, “I know what to do... You will have everything as the heir and I will be with Mr. Charlie as his wife... It's a win-win for us” she added and turned to him, “you should come out... Your dad's friends are all here concerning the missing son, stay with Mr. Charlie and make him love you so he can forget Tristan soon”. James nodded and watched his mother went out, he sighed and looked out his window “I will own it all”.
