A Mermaid?

Time: 10:00am Location: West Midlands [Birmingham] The sound of music was everywhere in the room, chattering and laughter of drunk people could be heard across the room. Nick and the Italian guy stared at Tristan for a while, then burst into laughter all of a sudden. "That man is crazy," Nick said before gulping the cup of beer he had been holding for sometime. "Let's be careful, so we won't end up drunk like him...a mermaid? Oh! please save me the fairy tales. Mermaids don't exist and they can never exist... It's all just a bedtime story to put little children to sleep..." he added and let out a long sigh as he turned to Tristan. "You are not thinking about that are you?" he asked. "Come on Nate, tell our boy here that it can't and never will be possible", Nick added. The Italian guy smiled and poured Tristan another cup of beer. "I am sure there is a reason behind your dream Tri, but trust me...this is the 21st century, and if there's any mermaid out there. I'm sure the researchers would have found them by now" Nate responded and passed the beer to Tristan. Tristan looked up at him, "Why? Why capture them?" he asked curiously. The two men looked at each other and burst into laughter. "Just drink up boy, don't think about some dream okay? Stop watching late-night movies...I am sure they cause your weird dreams" Nate concluded. Even after Tristan's friends had convinced him, he still couldn't get the thought of it out of his head. "HEY BOYS" Tristan recognized the voice at once, Mitchell. The lady who wouldn't stop flirting and trying to seduce him, Nick's cousin. The young man sighed soft and looked away. Mitchell saw Tristan and smiled flirtatiously, "Wagwan boys!!!.....And if it ain't my birthday boy", she said and sat next to Tristan who tried to avoid eye contact with her. "Mitchell where have you been? I have been trying to get through to you since yesterday we got separated at the party, why did you ditch us like that?...where did you go?" Nate asked worriedly. Mitchell rolled her eyes and spat out the gum she was chewing. "None of your business...MOM!!!" she responded and turned to Tristan. "I have always been waiting for you to be 18," She said staring at Tristan who was half drunk, holding his hand firmly. "So what? Leave the boy alone Mitch! You are much older than him, let him breathe!" Nick said. Nate stood up and grabbed Mitchell's arms. "Come on, let's talk outside okay?" he said looking into her eyes. She flung his hands aside and turned to Tristan. "I have been waiting for 3years Tristan, come on...you know I can treat you good and trust me I am not after your dad's wealth or anything like that", she promised and let out a chuckle. Tristan could smell Indian hemp, but wasn't sure if the smell was coming from her mouth or just all over her body. The young man closed his eyes in frustration then finally answered. "Mitchell!..." "Yes baby" she replied sharply, putting one hand on his shoulder and the other on his thigh. Tristan stared at her for a while then said, "I can't... I don't...." "Hey....Shhhh!!!" Mitchell suddenly put her fingers on his lips. Pressing them against each other "don't say that...okay? I know you want me too" she added. She was leaning closer to him now and Tristan could see how open her breast was and how she was shaking it gently for him. "None of your high school girls can be as hot as me Tri, come on sweetheart," she said as she bit her lips gently. Nick stood in front of Tristan and looked down at Mitchell, "leave the boy alone...you are making him so uncomfortable" he said. "Yes you are! Leave him alone!" Nate added. Mitchell scoffs and looked away, bringing out a stick of cigarette from her back pocket. She lights it and took a puff...blew the smoke out angrily, so there was a thick cloud of smoke sorrounding her. "I should leave him alone and then what? Come to you?" she said, looking up at Nate. "I don't care about what y'all say...I know he wants me and I will not give up on him.." "And" Mitchell stood up and stared at Nate, "I don't want you...so stop trying too hard and give me a break" she whispered to him and turned to leave. "Hey Tristan, I will see you later..." she added before leaving the tavern. Nate sat down and let out a deep sigh. "I...I am sorry", Tristan said. Nate smiled and patted the young man's shoulder slightly. Nick ordered more beer and turned to Nate, "come on man! You have so many girls you can always lay with... a lot of women out there, leave Mitchell and stop hurting yourself...be a hoe man! No woman is worth getting all worked up for...right Tristan?" Nick said looking at Tristan for a reply. Knowing he had no experience with any girl, even though half of the girls in school were dying to be with him. Tristan shrugged and looked away. "Oh no! Both of y'all are pathetic!!! The one that wouldn't stop chasing a girl for 8years and the one that hasn't had a single girlfriend all his life...what are you boys doing? When there are a lot of girls...GIRLS!!!". Nick said out loud, smacking a lady passing by on the ass. "Lots of em!!! Stop been such a bore! Get out and get a good kitty cat" he added. "MEOW!!!", A lady in a distance responded. "Yeah, sweetheart! You got it.." Nick laughed out. ******************** Tristan got home late that night, he had so much fun in the tavern and at that moment it was his best birthday so far. The young man drove into his father's lawn, trying to get hold of himself. He stepped out of his car and suddenly got startled. "Oh My God!!!..."
