So, we crossed river, and I noticed we all were bare footed. The thing i am not able to remember is where are my shoes? But as I enter the village I forgot what I was thinking. I saw small huts made of mud and stones with roof made of straws and shrubs. These huts were aligned side by side giving out much place to walk in between. We walked and walked until I was able to see a rough edged sculpture standing in the middle, around which there is good place for all these people to sit.
Honestly saying, this sculpture i was looking at was not well sculptured, it was kind of looking funny to me. It had two lanky hands without any skeletal support. Something crown like was placed on the head of the sculpture which isn't exactly crown, it actually looked like crown made of flowers and leaf, but it was dried. The sculpture was also looking a little bit tilt like it is going to fall but then I noticed a log piece supporting it from backside.
Well, I can say it looks like a scare crow to me which is placed on farms to scare crows away.
Well coming back to present, they untied my hands and let me sit, thankfully. later I saw Mother Mireya, if i am right, sat on the chair which was placed in front of the scare crow like sculpture. She called one of her people and started to talk about me. But they were talking in sush tone, and frequently looking at me.
'So, What is your name?' Mother Mireya asked.
'My name is Akiko and I am twenty years old.' I smiled cringily. Well i felt like 'I am Shinchan, I am five years old' kind of feeling. Oh man I love Shinchan. And they also had cringy expression on their face in answer to my cringy smile. ha... ha...ha.. i just wanted to laugh in wordings... well ignore that.
'You are from where?' asked the person who was previously talking to Mother Mireya about me.
'I am from Japan, and you?' They don't look japanese to me.
'This is Artan. But where is Japan? We are listening this name for the first time.' Whaaaaat!!!! they don't know where japan is. well I also don't know where Artan is. Truce. I am dumb head for thinking of truce.
'Well Japan is country in east. What about you? I mean I know this is Artan, but actually which village, state, country, continent?' And by expression on there face I got it, They have no idea what i am talking about.
'Ok, I got it, I think I am may be in a dream right now, and I might have time traveled in my dream, and ended up here with you ancient people. right!?' Ah...... why I am even telling this to them.
'Girl, it looks like you need rest, you are just blabbering.' oh wow they know what blabbering means. well they are saying right. I will take some rest and then i will be out of my dream.
'May be you are right, Mother Mireya, I need sleep.' I yawned lazily, I am feeling a bit sleepy. Mother Mireya commanded one of her people to lead me towards the place where I can have rest.
The girl who was taking me to nearby hut for me to sleep, was a bit of tanned skin and looked like she was sixteen or something. I asked her name, she told me her name Maya. She sounded kind of bored. But she is a quite of beauty I must say.
We entered hut. There was nothing but a thin wooden mat, two to three ropes, and at corner there was something like dried heap of mud, opened from top with huge notch on it placed burned black wood with some mud utensils around it. 'Oh so they cook food on this. ' I said to myself.
Maya laid mat on the dried mud floor and asked me to sleep on it, but instead I sat on it and pulled her down to sit with me for which she said no. Come on I need to make some friends in dreams atleast because I don't have real one in my real life except Hayashi.
I bit of forced her to spend some time with me and she gave up. 'So, You like here, i mean this life of tribal people?' she had confused look on her face. I don't know why, I think she didn't get me. So I changed the question. 'Tell me something about you, and your people.' And I am confirmed she understood me, because her eyes light up and started her blabbering which I asked for.
'As you know, My name is Maya and this place is called Artan. We are Artanese tribe. Mother Mireya, is head of our tribe. The clothes we wear the language we speak has came from our Mother Mirey'a Ascendants. This Village is very beautiful, if you want I can show you around any time. You look kind of strange to me with your clothing specially, but you know what, I like your clothes, can I try it once when you are not using it, please?'
'Oh yes, anytime.' I nodded at her like a little girl, because I felt like some chubbiness she have has transferred in me by some way. She is cute and chubby. 'You should also let me try your clothes too.'
'Yes. But you should also tell me where you came from, and what is Jafan?' she asked so cutely.
'You mean Japan? Japan is the country where I live. Just like you have your place Artan. Japan is very beautiful but different from Artan. The way Artan look, I would categorize it as a small village, but if I compare a Japanese village with Artan it would be like a big city as compare to Artan.'
'Oh, sounds a bit complicated to me.' she smiled in confusion. ' But do you have magic where you live? I love magic, I want to be a magician one day.' she asked like she is a kid of age five.
'Yes, I guess so.'
'Then tell me about it.' Those starry eyes man..... but how should I explain to her if this is the ancient time. In what kind of dream I get my self into. I better pinch myself. And I did.
