Novelist

Jennifer wakes up in a strange house. She held her aching head. It turned out that her head was injured and someone had treated him. Jennifer tried to remember what had happened earlier. When she was in a taxi a car collided with the taxi she was traveling in. "Are you awake?" A voice startled Jennifer. A young man with exotic skin, sharp eyes and a firm jaw. He is very handsome. "Did you save me?" Jennifer asked. She wondered if the young man who saved him was a celebrity. "Right. You refuse to go to the hospital." Jennifer remembers that. She didn't want to go to the hospital. Of course the doctor will contact her family. "Wait a minute, did you call my father?" Jennifer was very tense. "No. I did check all your personal belongings. I thought for a moment to contact your family. But considering you were afraid of being found. I became doubtful. It could be that your family is also in the same problem. The situation was very confusing. Finally I decided to wait for you to wake up. If you want me to call..." "No do not!" Jennifer said so loudly. "I... Run away from home. My father is very strict and I feel depressed. I don't want to go back to that hell again," Jennifer said looking for an excuse so the young man in front of her didn't suspect. "My name is Jennifer. You can call me Jennie," Jennifer said introducing herself. "I'm Alex." Alex smiled. Then he got up to get some soup and bread. Not forgetting a glass of milk that made Jennifer remember that her stomach asked to be filled. "You must be hungry. Eat. I will sit in the front room. So you don't have to hesitate," said Alex. "Thanks," Jennifer replied and began to eat heartily. Actually she felt Alex was a good man. But the experience kept Jennifer on her toes. After finishing the food. Jennifer came out of the room. She looked for the kitchen. Luckily the kitchen is near the living room. The house is quite simple. There are only two rooms. There is also one bathroom. While the kitchen and living room are in the same room. Alex's life seems very simple. Similar to Jennifer's previous life. Jennifer washed the glasses and plates she used to eat. Then she sat down in a chair not far from Alex. At that time Alex was busy looking at the files on the desk. "Are you working?" Jennifer asked. "I'm a novelist." Jennifer was very happy to hear that. Jennifer is a geek. She reads a lot of novels, especially thriller, mystery and ghost novels. "Really? I like reading novels. What kind of novels do you write?" Jennifer asked curiously. "Mystery and murder," said Alex. "Wow. I really like murder and mystery-themed novels." "Is that true!?!" Alex was surprised. Jennifer nodded. "Nice to meet you. Actually I'm curious and suspicious. Are you running from your father or a criminal?" asked Alex, staring probingly. Jennifer was silent. She knew that a writer must be very intelligent. A little bit of a lie can be found out easily. "I was being chased by my father who was probably a criminal." Jennifer answered with her head lowered. Don't let them meet each other's eyes. Jennifer's lies can be found out. "No kidding. Your name is Jennie Cole. But you introduced yourself to Jennifer. Then your father, I'm sure it must be Jims Cole," Alex guessed. "How do you know," Jennifer was very surprised. Alex didn't answer. He typed on the computer and then showed the news media online. There was written a news that said if Jims had a daughter named Jennie Cole. "Your father is a businessman. He owns a drug company. How do you say he is a criminal. Does he manufacture drugs?" asked Alex. Alex actually knew that Jims was a state secret agent. Among the police Jims is very popular. Alex was also very impressed with him. Jennifer couldn't believe there was a picture of her there. Even her father held a press conference. Judging from the date of issue. Looks like Jims made the news when Jennifer ran away. Who would have thought if Jims had many identities. Of course, Jennie couldn't deny the news. Moreover, the identity card clearly stated her family name. "I couldn't help it. But I really ran away from home," Jennifer said. Alex laughed. "Ok. I believe you ran away. But I don't believe in myself. The daughter of a rich businessman lives in my humble home." "What's the difference. This is also a house. Especially before he was rich. My father was also poor," answered Jennifer. "Where is your family?" Jennifer asked curiously. "I live alone. My mom and dad are dead." "Sorry. I'm sorry," Jennifer said. "No problem," replied Alex. "You must have a hard time living alone. What if I rented your room and worked as an assistant writer. I ran away without much money. So I had to work while renting a place to live. Don't worry. I'm good at taking care of all the housework too. A writer's assistant who can be a housekeeper too." Jennifer desperately hoped Alex would allow it. "The income of a writer is very small. How can I pay you. I'm sure you are used to living in luxury," said Alex again. "You can pay me as much as you can," Jennifer said, not giving up. She was too lazy to find another place to live. "You can pay me as much as you can plus a free place to live and eat in this house. How about it?" Jennifer asked. Alex was silent for a moment. It seemed he was thinking hard enough. He considers everything from the risk of his decision later. Actually being a writer is Alex's side job as a police officer. Because he had already disguised himself, Alex used his side job as an alibi. Like Jims who is a state secret agent who also carries out his work in the real world as a businessman. It's also very smart. Nobody will know if Jims is an international secret agent. Everyone thinks Jims is a successful person in the business field. Jims Really like doing business. Therefore Alex will follow in the footsteps of Jims. Do what he likes with pleasure while working on it. "How?" Jennifer asked hopefully. "Okay," Alex replied. Jennifer was very happy. She was so excited. "Okay, for the first time, I'm going to clean and tidy up this house. You just sit quietly. Focus on writing stories. Meanwhile I'll keep the house tidy and clean." "Okay." Alex got up and sat at the desk not far from the living room. Meanwhile Jennifer started tidying the house. Picking dirty clothes, sweeping and mopping vigorously. She felt lucky to meet Alex. Looking at some trophies and medals, it seems that Alex is a good person and also an achiever. Usually such a person is a good person who will not deceive himself like Max. Jennifer finished her work just before nightfall. She immediately made dinner for the two of them. While working at the house. She will look for information where Max took Janeth.
