Thomas saw the news on television about the discovery of a corpse in the gorge of the forest. The news reminded Thomas of placing the corpse of his artificial DNA replica. The corpse was that of a female criminal who happened to have a similar bone structure to Jennifer's. Thomas just needs to add Jennifer's signature in it and then make DNA changes through the original DNA genes mixed with something to make the corpse's DNA mutate according to the new DNA. Thomas has also tested his work many times. Until he got the perfect result.
The body found in the ravine is confirmed as Jennifer. Forensic results state that. Thus Jennifer's death is confirmed and Jennie will not be suspected again. As a continuation of Thomas' perfect plan. He also injected something that changed Jennifer's DNA, her fingerprints and so on. So that when making an identity card, there is no double identity between Jennie Cole and Jennifer.
Thomas was sure that after Jennifer saw the news on television, the girl would be confused. It wouldn't take long for the girl to come back and question who the corpse was or what had happened. Why can there be two Jennifers.
Thomas smiled. Jims' plan was perfect. As if he could read the state of the future. Jims made safeguards for any eventuality that would occur. So that Jennifer can never come back.
Thomas got up and was about to get out of the place to eat, but someone bumped into him.
"I'm sorry," said the young man.
"It's okay," Thomas replied, looking at who had hit his shoulder hard enough. As soon as he saw the young man, Thomas had to admit he was very surprised. That young man was Alex.
Thomas sharpened his memory. He had seen the young man. The data about Alex is pretty specific. Because Alex is a person to be reckoned with. But Thomas failed to get the data about Alex in his memory. Or maybe there is no data about it.
Thomas walked out the door, but when he came out he turned and saw Alex back. After that Thomas decided to leave. During the walk Thomas couldn't forget Alex's face, so he opened the phone and opened the important data on it.
"That's him," said Thomas.
In the data, there are only photos and names. There is no other data apart from that. Looks like Alex's data is hidden. It shows that Alex's current position is special.
"Alex Darren Hamilton. The only son of the Hamilton family."
Thomas stopped in his tracks, then looked up at a towering building belonging to the Hamiltons. Alex is the heir to the Hamilton fortune. His mother died as a child and his father remarried the woman who fell in love with Alex. The woman also brought her son into the Hamilton family. With abundant wealth and immigrants who are also hungry for wealth, it will definitely make Alex not feel at home in his own family. Especially if Hamilton loves his new wife more than Alex.
Thomas continued on. He stopped again when the phone rang. It turned out to be a message containing photos of Jennifer's whereabouts. One of them looks Jennifer is with Alex.
"No way," Thomas was surprised. He immediately ran quickly to the previous restaurant, but it was too late. When he returned Alex was out of sight. What is the relationship between Alex and Jennifer? How can they be together? Thomas thought hard and found no common ground.
Since childhood, the Hamilton family has never had a relationship with Steven. So there's no way they'd ever been to Steven's house. Thus Jennifer would not know Alex. If they were caught alone, what would make them able to be together?
"Do you have any data on where Alex Darren Hamilton's house is?" Thomas asked over the phone.
"What's with the family? They're good people, we have nothing to do with their family," Jims said on the phone.
"I got information that Jennifer was seen with Alex," said Thomas.
"Is that true!?!" Jims was silent for a moment. "Everyone knows their house. But according to information Alex had a fight with his father and left the house. He lives alone, works and does what he wants. The problem is, no one knows where he lives. It can't even be traced."
Thomas sighed after hearing all of Jims' explanations. If Jims said that, it would be difficult to find where Alex's house was.
"You go back home. News of Jennifer's death has spread. The girl will come to us herself."
"Okay. I'll be back," Thomas answered and hung up.
Thomas didn't have to worry about Jennifer. Because Alex doesn't have a bad record. If Jennifer was with that man, everything would be safe. Finally Thomas decided to return home. As Jims said, after the news of Jennifer's death, the girl would come in person to ask what had happened.
Thomas walked to where he had parked the car. After getting inside and sitting behind the wheel, he felt that he still wanted to be in that place. The bustling, sleepless night of the city reminded Thomas of his childhood with Jennifer. The two of them played, chasing among the crowds of pedestrians. Jennifer laughed happily. While the parents are busy with their business. Thomas was happy to accompany Jennifer. But who would have thought something happened. Thomas saw a familiar criminal pointing a gun at him. The villain was an enemy who had failed to kill him in the past. Thomas wanted to scream, but because he was so scared no sound came out of his mouth. Until gunshots were heard. Who would have thought that Jennifer, who had been running, turned to hug Thomas. The bullet went through Jennifer's neck.
The incident made Thomas feel guilty for a long time. He kept an eye on Jennifer from afar. Until the girl finally recovered even though she was finally mute. Jennifer also has memory problems. Maybe the shooting had shocked Jennifer. So that Jennifer does not remember that she was born not mute.
Thomas sighed. He was always worried that Jennifer was in danger when he wasn't watching. Especially when he learned from Jims that Jennifer was in grave danger. Because Jennifer's lover is very suspicious. Thomas had asked to keep Jennifer away, but Jims had refused. Thomas' fear finally came true. Jennifer was killed by her lover. Luckily Jennifer is still alive. Otherwise, Thomas will blame himself for the rest of his life. Because Jennifer became helpless because of his fault.
Thomas looked up at the dark sky. He hoped that Jennifer would always be okay and that Alex, who might be with Jennifer now, could take good care of the girl. Even though Thomas likes Jennifer. He didn't mind if Jennifer was with another man. Because Thomas thought Jennifer could be in a dangerous situation if she was always with him. Even though they were both adults, Thomas had lost his confidence when he faced Jennifer.
