Jennifer hasn't had the chance to open the previously saved paper. Alex keeps Jennifer busy by asking Jennifer to read Alex's story. If there is an error in the arrangement of letters, then Jennifer must correct it.
Overall Alex's story is very interesting, but there are certain things that Jennifer thinks do not match reality. Most of the stories did happen in his life, but most of them never. But maybe Jennifer didn't know. Especially about the fact that her father, Steven never married and the woman he had been living with was a secret agent in charge of taking care of Jennifer and Janeth.
"Why are you pensive?" asked Alex.
"I'm confused. Is it true that the woman who has been with Steven all this time is not his wife? Steven never married?" Jennifer was in shock. Then whose child is she, is Steven only a biological father with her mother but the two have never married.
"If you're curious, then my story is good," said Alex.
Jennifer looked at Alex suspiciously. "This story must be half fiction. Right?" guessed Jennifer.
Alex laughed. He touched the tip of Jennifer's nose like a button. "Stupid. If not half fiction what do you think. Jennifer's biography!?!"
Jennifer's face turned red. She was embarrassed to be touched by Alex.
"You set me up," Jennifer muttered.
"Not a trap. You were trapped. But curious. Isn't that right!?! That way you will continue to wait for the next episode. What do you think? Do you like this story?" asked Alex.
"Yes. Are you satisfied, Mr. Writer," said Jennifer.
Alex chuckled. Suddenly the doorbell rang. Alex's facial expression went from cheerful to cold. Jennifer realized that it was only when he spoke to her that Alex had a cheerful face.
"You stay here. I'll open the door."
Jennifer nodded, then waited curiously for Alex to return. Who are the guests? So far, no guests have visited Alex's house. After five minutes Alex appeared with a brown envelope.
"A parcel delivery courier." Alex opened the envelope. It turned out to be a party invitation from the mayor.
"Wow. Are you so famous that you were invited to an official's party?" asked Jennifer looking at the gold engraved invitation and there was also a small gold invitation card.
"This is not an official party. But the mayor's daughter's wedding party. Incidentally, the mayor's wife is a fan of my writing," said Alex.
"Are you coming?" Jennifer asked. In her heart she wondered what a rich man's party was like. So far Jennifer has always been at home and never attended a fancy party.
"I don't want to attend." Alex closed the invitation.
"Why? Isn't it rude if you don't attend. Especially if the mayor's wife is a big fan of you. You can't disappoint a fan," said Jennifer.
Alex sighed. He looked at Jennifer with a sharp gaze. "I'll be there if you come as my lover to the party. How about it?"
Jennifer was surprised. She looked at Alex. There were many question marks in Jennifer's mind.
"In the past, the daughter who is getting married now proposed to me. But I don't like that girl. The mayor's wife was disappointed and angry with me. Therefore, they invited me just to show off. If I came alone they would surely embarrass me. So if you think I should come, then you should pretend to be my girlfriend."
Jennifer didn't think there was a story behind Alex's refusal. Of course anyone would be interested in Alex. He is the man every woman dreams of.
"Okay. I don't mind."
Now it was Alex's turn to be surprised to hear Jennifer's answer. Actually, what made Alex most reluctant to come to the party was meeting the Hamilton family. He was deliberately making excuses because Alex thought Jennifer wouldn't want to be his girlfriend. But unexpectedly the girl actually accepted.
"Okay. What can I do, from now on you have to play a double role. In addition to being an assistant, you also have to play a role as my girlfriend. Don't worry, I will increase your pay," said Alex.
Jennifer nodded excitedly. She resumed reading and editing Alex's story. Meanwhile Alex looked at him in confusion.
Alex thinks Jennifer is the perfect girl. Such a girl would not like a man like her. Alex accepted Jennifer too because the girl was Jims' daughter.
Alex went into another room and called a clothing store owner he knew. He ordered a red ball gown and high hell that fit Jennifer. Don't forget Alex called a make-up artist to help Jennifer later when she was going to the wedding. When finished Alex went to one of the windows of his house. He looked up at the sky and took a deep breath. His mind remembered the fake Jennifer's death in the hospital. Where is the real Jennifer that Alex misses so much. The mute girl he loved so much.
Alex peeked through the slightly ajar door. Jennifer looks serious working on several scripts that will be sent by Alex to a media. In the eyes of Alex Jennifer did not look like Jims at all. Jims skin is pale white, while Jennifer has beautiful skin. Jennifer's skin is olive. It was also the skin that reminded Alex of Jennifer's daughter. The girl that Alex really likes. The difference is that Jennifer, daughter of Jims, is very beautiful and can talk. Meanwhile, Steven's daughter Jennifer is modest and mute. Surprisingly, they both have the same name. Jennifer and Jenny.
Alex remembered something. Why didn't he think about finding out the Jims. Back when they were still active as agents. Jims, Steven and Justine are not married. After that only Steven mingled with society so Justine and Jims didn't sound too wide. It's just that the news about Jims' daughter just broke a few days ago right when he met Jennifer. Why the timing is so perfect. Why the news was only released when Jennifer ran away. Are there any hidden secrets. Plus since meeting Jennifer for the first time Jims met Thomas. Not just once but up to two times. And oddly enough, Thomas admitted that he didn't know Jennifer. Yet Jennifer was the daughter of Jims, his own master. Thomas is lying or Jennifer is lying.
Alex immediately used his cellphone to type in a data search application. He hoped that Jennie Cole's photo was already on the internet. Alex immediately typed Jennie Cole's name. Not long after, Jennie Cole's face appeared there. It was true that Jennifer who lived with him was indeed Jims' daughter, but why did Thomas say he didn't know Jennifer? His attitude was suspicious. There must be something to hide. Alex immediately typed in the keyword Jims Cole's wife. But the results of the search application really surprised Alex. The reason that appears is the word...
