Thomas cleans Jennifer's blood. He did it carefully and carefully. After that Thomas wiped using a soft dry cloth. Scars were everywhere, but the worst were on Jennifer's face and head. The impact of a hard object damaged most of Jennifer's face. While the head injury is certainly the most critical. Worried that something might happen, Thomas immediately did a brain scan to find out if there were any damaged brain cells.
Thomas did everything himself in Jims' private laboratory. They have a very complete set of tools. So there is no need to go to the hospital to do that. Thomas also has various expertise in the medical field. Especially surgeons. His intelligence is above average. But on the other hand, Thomas is someone with Asperger's or autism. He joined Jims since he was a teenager and was educated at various universities. It didn't take long for Thomas to finish his education. However, only a few are willing to accept a job after graduation. Therefore, Thomas decided to work for Jims. And even then after knowing Jims' job.
"How is she?" asked Jims, taking a close look at the wound on Jennifer's face.
"Lab checks are all good. There's nothing to worry about except physical damage. But there's something you should know. Take a look!" Thomas demonstrated his discovery.
Damaged body cells seem to repair the damage itself. So everything is back to normal. It's safe to say that if the cells hadn't been repairing themselves, Jennifer might have died a few minutes ago.
"Wow. Amazing. They heal themselves. But why don't they fix this broken face?" Jim was curious. He would never forget how the locket broke and the red liquid inside entered Jennifer's body through the wound on the girl's body.
"I think the energy in this girl's body is limited. So they only repair the cells that are considered important and ignore the rest." Thomas was very sure of the answer.
"Then, shall we let it be?" Jims deliberately provoked Thomas's answer. They rarely talk long except when there is a case.
"No. I will make Jennifer look more beautiful than her face before. I think this is a good time to practice other surgical techniques," said Thomas excitedly.
"Okay. Do it. I'll see the results." Jims tapped Thomas on the shoulder. It was the way Thomas liked it the most when Jims cheered him on.
It's not easy to repair someone's broken face. Because to fix it, Thomas also needs other skin components from Jennifer's body parts. Especially with the condition of the face that is damaged due to the impact of hard objects. Thomas had to go through many longer stages in the process.
Meanwhile Jims went to his study. He took an agenda belonging to Jennifer's late father. The red liquid that had raised Jennifer from the dead was an item that had been hidden for so long. Both of Jennifer's parents died because of it. In fact, Jims also wanted the object. This fluid is called the fluid of immortality. As a man on the verge of Death, of course, Jims wanted it.
Steven has been doing research for decades. He works officially for the government. Steven once sent a letter. It was the last letter Jims received. In the letter Steven said he had twins which he named Janeth and Jennifer. Then at the end of the letter Steven said he would leave both of them to Jims, if he died one day. Steven also said a little if his research actually succeeded, but Steven changed his mind, because if the drug was given to someone who paid for it then the destruction of the world would begin. Because, human death is necessary for the balance of the world. If humans had not died from generation to generation, what would have happened. Steven also added that the side effects were also very large. People who take the drug will depend on blood.
That was the only message that was conveyed by Steven. For the rest, Jims only received a paper with a picture of the locket that Jennifer had worn. The locket was cracked and the liquid inside had of course entered Jennifer's body. If true, the regeneration that occurs inside Jennifer's body must be caused by the liquid. Steven named it the Red Devil.
Jims looked closely at the locket. He put it in a box and put it in a desk drawer. Then Jims thought, maybe he could find a quick way to help Jennifer recover faster.
"This is more difficult than I thought," said Thomas suddenly.
Jims, who was pensive, looked directly at Thomas with a probing look. "What happened?" asked Jim.
"I've done a lot of things, but strangely the skin fusion is so slow. The blood dries so quickly that it doesn't clot between the layers of the skin."
Jim got up. He immediately went to where Thomas had surgery. "Why don't you give me a blood transfusion?" asked Jim.
"I don't know, the blood is all normal."
"Take my blood and give it to him," said Jims.
"Okay," said Thomas excitedly.
"He's not human anymore. I don't know what to call him," said Jims.
Thomas immediately drew Jims blood. Then he gave it to Jennifer through the transfusion process. Turns out it worked. Some of the wounds and surgery on Jennifer's face were fused together as if the operation had never happened.
"That's really great. How can it be like that? Is it because of your blood or because of Jennifer?" Thomas was confused.
"This is all because of the Red Devil. The red liquid that has entered Jennifer's body and is being hunted by everyone. If it's like this, I have to find out who the culprit is who killed Steven. But why didn't he give me this task. About Steven's accident no again appeared in the media. This case seems to be closed and just disappeared. However, it seems that people are still looking for it."
Thomas was silent. If it's true that everyone is after that, then from today onwards Jennifer's life will not be the same again. There will be many people coming to hunt him. Especially if they know if the liquid is in Jennifer's body.
Meanwhile elsewhere. Janeth was terrified. Her mind that continues to feel guilty always imagines her sister's presence everywhere. She continued to feel scared. She didn't dare leave the house. Two days Janeth kept locking herself in her room. Her attitude made Max start to lose his temper.
"Janeth, there are no ghosts in this world. If your sister had indeed risen, we would not have lived to this day. Do you want to continue like this?" Max said.
Janeth hid under the covers. She knew she had acted stupidly, but she couldn't just ignore her guilt. She was sorry and wanted to help Jennifer, but Max kept forbidding him.
"Damn girl," Max cursed and left. She let Janeth in the room. While singing thinly, Max dismantled several parts of the house. Max has to find that lab.
