Xenon’s POV “Help me?.” she must be running away from someone. From the way her pulse is weak, I guess she must be drugged.. That made me so furious. This is the kind of behavior I don’t tolerate in my club. Every member of the club is warned against such behaviors. It baffles me that someone decided to go against the rules. “Did you see anyone chasing after her?.” I inquired from the bodyguards in front of the booth. “No sir!.” One of them answered. “Alright. Go to the security office and get the camera footage of all her movements since she entered the club today.”. I instructed the guard. “And as for you, call the doctor and tell him to meet in the penthouse.” I ordered the other bodyguard. There is a clinic attached to the building so that minor cases and emergencies can be given first aid before being taken to the hospital. I picked the lady in my arms and headed for my personal elevator. I own the entire building. It would not be good for my business if it gets to the press that some has been drugged in one of my Clubs. My business might suffer a backlash and I can’t risk that. I entered the elevator with the lady in my arms. Her soft warm body pressed against me was making my wolf to be at the edge. Which was a little bit shocking because my wolf never has an instant reaction to anybody. When I got to my penthouse, I lay her on the bed as I waited for the doctor. I could help but stare at how beautiful and angel she looks. She has long lashes and her lips… my goddess!. I sat next to her on the bed and could not help but stare at her. She looks so peaceful and innocent. Like an angel. I gave in to the temptation and touched her face. I let out a moan as if I felt the current that I felt when my hand made contact with her face. My goddess , she is perfect! Jezz Xenon! Snap out of it. I scolded myself. I can’t believe I am getting turned on by an unconscious lady. That’s crazy! I haven’t gotten laid for a while and I think it’s time I do. I left the bedroom and went to the lounge room just in time when the doorbell rang. I opened the door and it was the first guard who came with security footage. He played the footage for us as we watched. The lady came with a young man who left her in the booth with an old man who was drugged. She punched the old man as she tried to get away from him. That must be where she got the bruises in her hand from. The whole thing looks like it was planned by both men. I believe there is more to the story. “Find out all the possible information you can find about all three of them and how they are connected to each other…” I ordered. “Okay Boss!.” My guard replied and left the room. I went to the mini fridge in the room and took some ice. I wrapped it in a wipes and used it to massage her hand because I know from experience that it will be swallowed in the morning. Shortly after that, the doctor came in. Her informed that she was given a new kind or r**e drug. It will make you fall asleep and once you are awake, you won’t be able to remember anything that happened in the last six hours. He gave me a pain reliever drug to give her the next morning and then left. An hour later, I got a report containing all the details about the three people. I started reading about the old p*****t who dares to drug someone in my own building. His name is Mr Abagus. A 62 year old billionaire. He is the owner of Matis cooperation. I heard about the company but I have never done business with him because we are not on the same level. The report proves me right because it states here that his business is on the edge of bankruptcy. There are a lot of cases filed against him for assault but the cases never made it to court. I guess he must have used his connection to prevent them. But not anymore. His luck has just run out. By the time I am done with him, he will be begging on the streets. Secondly, I read about the lady in question. Her name is Miya and she is twenty one years old. She is currently jobless and lives with her mother who is suffering from kidney stones. It states here that she was engaged to a certain Mr Luke. I guess he must be the guy she came with yesterday. I dropped her file and picked his. His name is Luke, twenty five years old. Surprisingly, he is engaged to another woman, Tiffany, his boss' daughter. It also stated that they are to get married next month. This means that he has been playing Miya all this while. Poor girl, I wonder how she will feel when she finds out about her so-called fiancé scam. I hate weak men who play with the emotions of ladies. My younger sister Tracy found her mate two years ago. He is human and was a con artist. I tried to warn her against it but she turned deaf tears to my warnings. At the end, he tricked her into signing her entire inheritance to him and then he eloped with his secret lover. Luckily enough for her, the document he signed was fake and so he didn’t get any inheritance. But then his actions left my sister heartbroken and she lost trust in people. I dropped the file on the table as I thought of how to punish them for their crimes. As I decided to leave the room, an idea came to me. Why don’t I use this opportunity for my benefit? Since Miya is in a helpless situation, she needs a job and needs to pay for her mother’s operation, I can have a proposal. She can become my Luna so that I can get the elders off my back and in return, I will pay for her mother’s surgery and get her a job. At the end of the day, it will be a win-win situation for the both of us. I didn’t realize it when I fell asleep, but next, I woke up with a very loud scream.
