DANIEL
It has been two days since I have been captured here. I am blindfolded, mouth taped, and both my arms and legs are tied up. I can hear when a person comes in and out and have a smoke in here before they leave. They do not say anything, but I think that is because they know I might recognise them.
I do not show any weaknesses or use all my strength to get out of here. I believe if they wanted to kill me, they would have done it two days ago at the office. But right now, they are wasting my time. I would like to think that they are either scared, or immature, or this is how they want to torture me. I hope they are having fun because they are dead the minute I free myself out of here.
The door opens, and the person walks in. I know it is always the same person because of their movement. I already know that they are going to sit on a chair in front of me and then light a cigarette before they blow the smoke on my face.
Unexpectedly, he roughly removes the tape on my mouth. I flinch and cuss at him for not warning me. And as expected, he sits on the chair and moves even closer.
“Alpha,” Finally, he speaks. “It’s been a while,”
Oh, f**k no. It can’t be!
“Surprise. I know this is unexpected of me, but here we are today in such a sad situation. I must though admit that you are not easy to intimidate,”
“I should have killed you the minute I had the chance,” I spit.
“Should have, would have, could have; it is all in the past right now. I got you, and you are in the palm of my hand. I am going to enjoy this,”
“f**k you, Kyle. I am going to kill you this time,”
“Oooohh, I am scared,” He says, sarcastically. “I wanted to kill you, Alpha, but I had a change of heart. I wanted to use your own method to torture you first before I kill you. Maybe you can help me with the ideas. I cannot find the right one, so between these three options, which one do you want; a gun, beat you to death, or push you off the building? But I think I like the last one even more; what do you think?”
I smirk and chuckle, but my chuckle turns into a loud excruciating laugh.
“Oh, Kyle. I pity you, son,”
“I actually pity you because you will have nowhere to go. Consider this your safe house because out there, to everyone including your kids; you are a fugitive,”
I tilt my head.
“What are you talking about?”
“Oh, you don’t remember? You attempted to kill an innocent man, Alpha. Do you remember that security guard you saw walking around your office? Well, I kind of shot him because he was going to confess, so after tasing you, which was fun, I took your gun and shot him. Unfortunately, he is still alive and in a coma. Now, all they know is that you shot him because I left your gun with your fingerprints where it will be easy for the police to find it, which they did, and now you are definitely a number one suspect. Oh, I enjoyed watching the police filling in your house and the chopper flying around that resort-looking mansion of yours, looking for you. It is just a matter of time before they find out that you are the Alpha. Maybe I should lead them to all your warehouses,”
“What the f**k have you done, Kyle!?” I growl, angrily.
“I have done nothing yet compared to what I am about to do. I will do everything in my power to get my revenge! I was nothing but loyal to you. My only mistake was to date your daughter, yet you punished me as if I have done a serious crime. I never betrayed you. I have always done what you always wanted me to do and I submitted on time, yet you wanted to kill me for dating your daughter? Now I have a child, but I am forbidden to see my baby because you said so. Maybe if you are gone, I would freely get to see my child as nothing would stop me,”
“Oh, f**k, Kyle. You want to talk about revenge? What revenge is it? You started this, and I punished you for it. Now you are doing it again, and you want to call it revenge? Kyle, I really thought you were smart, but you are actually stupid. Make sure you kill me now, or I am going to kill you TODAY! You hurt my girls and what did you expect me to do? Sit back and watch you do it again? I am an Alpha and I protect MINE. Make sure that you finish what you started, Kyle. Don’t make me leave this room or I am going to catch a case for real and go to jail for something I really did,” I warn him.
“You know, it is so hard to figure out your weaknesses, but you let me know without even trying that your girls are your weakness,” Oh, this boy knows how to provoke me. I cannot imagine what they must be going through right now. I wonder how Yolanda is taking it because she knows a little too much. I haven’t seen her in three months, and just when I do and make love to her, we get separated again. She is my wild baby; it was really unexpected of her, but I received it all. Unlike the first time we made love, I loved this one more. How did I let her go at first? I hope she realises how dangerous being with the Alpha is right now, but I also hope that she never leaves and stays by my side. Yes, we all know that Anele and Thando give me all the reasons to live and that is not questionable, but HONESTLY, Yolanda is the cherry on top.
Kyle expects me to react right now, but I will not give him the due.
"Kyle, you can get out from this while you still can, you know. The wolf pack is already on the hunt, and you wouldn't want to get caught by them because you know how it ends. It is going to end badly for you."
