KYLE
Great, just great. Couldn’t there be a perfect time for Capo not to just barge into my home and make an appointment first? Did he really have to devastate my mood and my girl’s mood like that? She looks so scared and shivering as if she is hit by a cold storm.
I know for a fact that she is scared of Capo. He is a scary man, but mostly, she knows Capo and her dad are very close, and he could tell him about this.
“Mom, please take Yolanda with you,” I ask, looking at Yolanda. “It’s okay, babe,” I assure her.
She slowly gets up and follows my mother outside to the porch. I let out a breath as Capo comes to sit on the armchair and shakes his head.
“I should have just blown your brains out. What the hell, Kyle!?” He starts by yelling. Yep, that is Capo, Alpha’s Beta. Not apologetic for shooting me. The only thing that he said to me was that it had to be done or none of this would have looked real to the truck drivers. What I like is that the Alpha made him go back to the scene to clean up my blood so that no evidence is left, and I heard some other time that the truck drivers did mention to the cops that one of the “police officers” were shot, but when they led them to the first location, there was no proof of the shooting.
“What the f**k are you yelling for in my house? What I do here is none of your f*****g business!”
“It is my f*****g business! You are f*****g with the Alpha’s daughter! Man, you are dead!”
“At least I will die a happy man. I love that girl and I do not care what you or the Alpha are thinking. Kill me if you think it is right, or tell the Alpha, but I will never end my relationship with her,”
He laughs and shakes his head. This is the only time he laughs when he is angry and protective of his Alpha. This is not something I would want to feel good about because he gets more dangerous.
“Is that so? So, you wouldn’t mind me telling Alpha about this, right?”
“You would love that, wouldn’t you? I mean, you are his right-hand man after all,”
I am going to be honest; I am scared right now but not only for me but for Yolanda as well but I will act tough. I do not know what will happen next from here, but I know for a fact that I am going to get killed if the alpha finds out.
“I have always known that you were stupid, but I did not expect you to be this stupid. I knew for a fact that there was a girl behind your behaviour lately before your shooting, but going for Alpha’s daughter? You are f****d up, man,”
“No, I fell in love. If that makes you uncomfortable, then leave my house,” I am getting tired of seeing this ugly man’s face. It is too intimidating for my liking.
“You are playing with fire, little boy, and you are going to burn yourself. Is this how you want to thank Alpha?”
“You think loving her is wrong? I am doing nothing wrong here. Yolanda and I are in a relationship where both our feelings are mutual. Nothing is wrong there,”
“Yeah, keep on convincing yourself, but when Alpha realises that you have been screwing his daughter, you are going to swallow your words,” He stands up and glares at me.
“So, are you going to tell me what you came here about because I am certain you were not here to discuss my love life?”
“f**k you!”
He walks around and leaves. I finally breathe out the air I have been holding since Capo arrived. That man is brutal and sometimes he does not need the Alpha’s approval to do things, and since I am the Omega, he could have just killed me.
Damn, what is going to happen from here on? I just do not want Yolanda to get into trouble. I wish there was something more that I could do to make this situation a different scenario. I mean, Yolanda and I could just go to her stepfather and come clean to him and try to convince him about our love. Yolanda and I love each other, and he has been in love too, so I think that he might understand.
Yolanda rushes into the house. She has been crying.
“Princess, come here,” I open my arms for her and she comes and sits on top of me, burying her face in the crook of my neck.
“I should leave before my dad fetches me. Capo is going to tell him, Kyle,”
“You are not going anywhere, just not now, baby. I hold her tighter with my arms around her body. “You’ll go home before dusk,” I wish I could drive her home, but I am in no position to drive. I am only calm for now but it is honestly frustrating not to be able to move my legs, but my girlfriend understands and she is putting no pressure on m which is something that I kind of less expected from her. She cried genuine tears when I told her about my current condition, and she constantly repeated how much she loves me. I love her just as much.
“What did he say?” She asks.
“Do not worry yourself about him. We haven’t seen each other in a long time, so let us just enjoy this moment,” I do not want her to worry, but I want to make her believe that I have handled the situation while I think of the next plan. I want her to trust me to handle every situation we may come across. I like my woman relaxed and not worried about anything.
“Am I not hurting you?”
“Aren’t you sweet?” I peck her on the top of the head. “I am okay. I can handle any kind of pain for you,” I can, and if it means dying fighting for us, then I do not mind.
